Good morning Kate.  I had an uneventful weekend.  I didn't wear a bowtie, and didn't shoot a shotgun.

Boring altogether.

Oh and I took my son clothes and shoe shopping too.

When exactly did men's clothes become so gay?  The menswear section looked like and easter egg barfed!!!

Did you all have a fun weekend?

Nice weekend at home, took dog for a run and kids skating on Sunday.  Saturday was Birthday party for one and starting to take down holiday stuff.

Excitement for today:  Taking cat "samples" to the vet and hauling holiday totes into attic.

Don't forget waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy too tight!   I don't think the Easter egg barfed, it was crushed in those tight pants!

Good morning all!

I wouldn't know about the colorful side of mens clothing.  I'm stuck in two worlds:

jeans/shorts and a race t-shirt

monochromatic dockers and oxford shirt

Morning, y'all!

Men's fashion began the descent into androgyny with the advent of "metro's" and skinny jeans.  It's almost like the 80's all over again.

I don't remember that part of the 80s.  It needs to stop please!  I mean those clothes are bad enough on women do we really have to put men in pastel purple shirts.

You must be too young, then.  Pastels were unfortunately all the rage in the early to mid 80's.... right before mesh shirts and pegged pants legs came about.  Oh yes, it CAN get worse.

It is regional? I noticed when I was in Miami that alllll of the men (regardless of sexual preference and where they called home) dressed in bright colors - with a flair and purpose - most pants were skinny or slim fit. I actually liked it, the guys looked GOOD, but I come from land of hoodies and Levis.

My BF is very fashion forward - he enjoyed the change of wardrobe in Miami - but back in Kansas he gets multiple comments wearing something fairly tame like red True Religion jeans (at an art event at that)...

Happy Monday.

Follow up with my surgeon today and finally get to find out exactly what he did to my knee while I was under.

It was mild out this morning so the Dog and I went for a very nice walk. Sidewalks suck in my town they don't clean them so it was a pain in the bum walk. But she loved it.

Maybe it is just me then, I don't do fashion forward in myself or in men.

In Chi-town you see it all.   And know the people that are in fashion season after season, spend a small fortune to have "the look".

Me, I just like a well tailored suit and bikini....those are always in style to me!
