I will be shooting for 400 miles on the bike. I think I have morphed back into the roadie I used to be. I still like to hang out here at Tri central but I am only riding and racing on my bike these days (and absolutely LOVING it I might add). Not to be too much of a non-tri person but I have to tell you that my back and knees have not felt so awesome in a long time since I stopped swimming and running 2 months ago (I know, blasphemy  ) By the way, how do I get rid of this avatar! I paid my penance for losing the Sept challenge already and I cannot seem to get to go away! I'll be on any team that will take me as well! Thanks, Buck Hop onto Team 5. Its a time zone thing. I was laughing. LOL I thought I was going to be a Twinkie forever. Anyway, I think it's deleted now. But when I try to upload something new, the Twinkie comes back. So I think I'll just be avatarless for awhile. (It's not a bad change, actually!) Cat's not on our team? Well, she would have been, but she offered to be a Captain, and I couldn't turn that down. GOAL FOR NOVEMBER: run/walk for 15-20 mins x 22 (every week day in November) go for 2 bike rides (any distance) OK, these are really small goals but I'm returning to training after having my darling daughter, so take pity on me My training time is pretty limited as well between work and nappies... I'll be on any team that will take me, just don't put me with anyone too scary!! |

Goals for the month are modest as I am just getting back in shape. Run-25 miles (under 10 min pace) Bike- 8 rides (minimum 4 miles per ride) Strength train 8 times 1hr each Will be on any team...spent 30 years as a firefighter so I can take the smack. Thanks Steve |

Looks like 85. Not sure who the second guy is? looks like one of the Renault guys. I think they had 3 in the top 5 that year. I think Marc Madiot one it w/ Bruno Wojtnek second and Kelly nipping Lemond at the line for 3rd. Those were classic Paris-Roubaix days with guys like Kelly, Moser, VanDerardaen, etc. |
