Looks like I'll be upping my amount, but I'll determine that by the end of the week. Great job! There's been a request for a run challenge next month, btw.
GO PACKERS!!! we must learn to love to run LOL I know - me too! OMG the Giants are ahead Wait - Phil is posting on BT while the Packers are playing? OMG, he's as addicted to BT as we are! LOL |

Ok. If I don't get any better I think I will pull out of the challenge all together rather than lower my goal. I really don't want to have to that...but it would probably be best not to swim at all....so I'd prefer to take myself out. I'm going to wait 2 more days to see if I improve or end up in hospital...at this rate it's GOT to be one of the two, most likely the latter.
I want to thank everyone for their nice inspires and well wishes. It's honestly made my weekend a whole lot better Edited by ScotinSeattle 2008-01-20 10:00 PM |

I want to thank everyone for their nice inspires and well wishes. It's honestly made my weekend a whole lot better That might be a smart idea. My sister was home with what she thought was a cold, then she thought it was the flu, and after a week she went to the Dr. and got put into the ICU in the hospital for having pneunomia. She has been in the hospital for 10 days now. We are hoping that she will get to come home tomorrow or Tuesday. So, take care of yourself. |

Oh no. I'm sorry to hear about your sister Kendra! I hope she gets better soon!
My boss has more meds for me at work (She's a Dr) When I called her tonight I was really wanting her to give me the day off but they need me there, so what can I do? I mean they are giving me a month off in April. I don't actually have to do anything, just supervise which is ok!
I hope it doesn't turn out to be pneumonia...argh! I will wait another couple of days though if that's ok. Ya never know, I might do a complete 360! |

Master 1292 Houston | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II Great games yesterday!! I don't have favorites so it was just fun watching two decent games! It looks like swimming for me will be in the afternoon today! Grandson is home for two days so I am the daycare. I will have an opening before hubby has to lay down to get ready for the nightshift. With 6 more swims at 1800 yards I will complete my goal. I will be able to get a couple of extra swims in later in the week just to be on the safe side. Life really does get in the way, don't it?! |

Well, I'll do my armchair evaluation with my fellow Packer friends, but I'll give credit where credit is due and that the Giants played tough. Congrats to them. Now, considering the weather and the enthusiasm they had in Green Bay, I'm thinking that they'll be more hungry in AZ. |

CONGRATULATIONS to Who's Your Marmadaddy? This is the second week in a row that they've had the top ranking! BUT remember that this is only the THIRD week of the challenge! January is only 64.5% completed. And some of the teams are REALLY close to one another! There's still time to help your team achieve that #1 ranking! So get out there and Swim/Bike/Run!... And then Swim/Bike/Run some more! Dee and Beth |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II Important Challenge Announcement: This is a team challenge, so Beth and I have decided to offer you extra incentive to help your team. Some participants are dealing with illness, injury, or just "life in general." And we know you want your team to do well, so: You may now achieve 120% of your goal! Up to 120% of each person's progress will be counted in your team's percentages. (Yes, we know that some of you have raised your goals. It's your choice whether to try to achieve 120% based upon your original goal, or your new one.) The team with the highest percentage will WIN the Challenge. Any team that achieves 100% (or more), will also be declared a winner, and get to display the "Winner" signature line. We hope this provides a little incentive for you to get out there and SWIM, BIKE or RUN! Dee and Beth |
