Are you able to leave some stuff in each place so you dont have to completely repack each week?

yep, the week before I left I bought duplicates of shampoo, makeup, skin care, etc so I could avoid that

I packed my car up with more clothes - so this will probably be my last weekend with a big suitcase until I need to start bringing spring clothes with me

Thats great! Should make the whole thing easier!

yep, no baggage claim!

It's cute.  I have to felt it (shrink the wool), but other than that it looks pretty good.  I have a picture on my phone.  Let me see if I can get it posted.

Here's the squid.  The holes will get closed up when I wash it in hot water to shrink the wool.

Cute! You must have so much patience to be able to do something like that.

Yeah and you get neat stuff in the end. I prefer sitting silently and staring into space with my free time, lol.

My hubby's coach was discussing weight loss tactics with him today during a group ride. He said that you should have one day a month when you eat whatever you feel like and just get it out of your system. Well you guys know what I've been going through this week as far as weight loss so.... TODAY IS THAT DAY!!! I ate a half of pint of Ben and Jerry's Cinnamon Roll ice cream, I ate a cookie, An LD Star Crunch, a bagel, and am now drinking my beloved vodka-crans. I will not weigh myself tomorrow. I'm free, I tell you! Free!!!!! So it's only half a day of indulgence, but I think I'm doin' pretty good.

I've heard the same thing about giving yourself one free day for weight loss.  I think that might have been Friday with the chocolate fountains for me.

It does feel good to eat (& drink) without guilt. I'm off to bed. My tummy is full and I sleepy. Have a good night.

Wow, vodka-crans and chocolate fountains? Mmmm, I'll have yummy dreams tonight.

I've had a busy week. Shopping for a new car (but not actually buying one yet). Apparently everyone else wants the same vehicle, in the same color that I want. My husband actually started calling dealerships in our surrounding states while I was at work tonight. Anyone wanna go on a road trip to Albequerque? (I know I spelled thatworng--but it's after midnight here, and I worked all day, so cut me a little slack).

I actually worked out last week! I think I love my new foam roller. I actually got some achy low back pain to go away with just a few minutes on the darling little roller. Usually once it starts, all I can do to chase the pain away is pop some motrin and take a VERY hot bath, then head straight to bed. I think relief is spelled F-O-A-M.

I'm off to bed now. I work again tomorrow, and it's verrryyyy late. See you all in a few days (I hope).

kns57 - 2008-02-08 8:54 AM Does anyone do scrapbooks? I have toyed with them a little and I'm going to a weekend scrap in two weeks, so yesterday I got busy and ordered about 400 prints of pictures that I have taken over the last two years. Do I really think I will get them all done in a weekend? OMG I must be nuts.
I'll send you some of mine if you get all yours done. I have gotten so slack since the beginning of 2005. Hmmm. Kind of coincides with when I got serious about triathlon. And we went to a digital camera.
Yeah, digital cameras is what did me in. So easy to take pictures, forget to print them out, kind of like the commercials you see every now and then on TV advertising printers for photos. Anyway, since my daughter got me into this I have sorted 50 years worth of pictures into boxes and it blows me away. I need to take a year off of work and just get them together along with focusing on my TRI's. LOL

Um, did I mention I live in Salt Lake City? Utah? There's a scrapbook store on most every corner. I think I've even started one in my basement. I have enough supplies for it! I have hundreds of pictures waiting to get into my scrapbooks too, but I only get to work on them when I get away from home. Its hard to take time away from my kids and hubby (unless it's NIBBS, of course .

Happy Sunday, Nibbs!!!

Love the Squid, Jen!

Have a safe trip back to PA, Beth!

Days off the diet are the best, aren't they? Although I tried, really tried, to take a day off yesterday...after dinner with Sugar Daddy (where I did have 3 glasses of wine...), we went to the mall and I really wanted a good cookie, but the mall didn't have a cookie store. How wrong is that?

So I ate a Reeses PB Cup at home later. Not quite as satisfying, but probably less calorie-laden too.

Was going to take Baby out for a ride today, but the winds are gusting at 30-50mph, so I went to the gym instead. Yes I am lame, but I am not halfway to Kansas right now, so it was a good choice.

That is all.

I resemble this remark. I suffered through 54 miles. Thank God for aerobars. At one point, I was leaning heavily to my right and still getting blown back towrd center line. Still leaning heavily right, I managed to make to the right side of the road. Wind stopped for a brief second and I was off-roading on the Cervelo! By the time I got home, I just wanted to curl up in the fetal position in my driveway. But I needed to act tough in front of my male riding partner for the day!

Yeah. And I'm really glad I ate all the junk last night. I think it gave me a little extra something. (A little extra weight helped me from being blown away )
