( I can see it now, comet floating in space! Ha Ha.) But if not, I'm in Dayton, OH. How are we going to divy up teams (red/blue) (I think staggering strong, with inexperienced, strong, .... so that the teams seem even. Perhaps by last years running, biking, or swimming totals? And will there be captains? Do we need captains or are we just going to be accountable to you saling, like weds weigh-ins? |

Totals from 2007 Bike: 93.25 mi Run: 38.63 mi I know not the best but these totals are starting sometime in Nov. My 2008 numbers aren't so great either, as I've put a lot of the traditional s/b/r training aside for P90, and P90X. But, I starting to get back into the swing of things which is why I think this challenge is such a great idea to get me grounded in Tri training again. |

I was thinking too that at the end of the month if a team didn't make it to the destination they would be sag wagoned so they could start the next month even again. Then again it may be interesting just to see where ya'll end up. If any one knows where that map is that we can post locations let me know. Maybe it will even track progress. If not I will post in general forum. |

Ok, here are my ideas based on the points being offered: % of weight loss/gain - sailing, you could look at the logs and break out people based on how their weight loss has progressed this year to even this part out. S/B/R - maybe people could give you what their average monthly goal is in order to keep this even between the teams Races - everyone would need to tell you if they have races coming up because it wouldn't be fair for all of those people to be on one team Possible additional point categories: What about non-S/B/R workouts? Maybe give 100 points for every hour of activity? Perhaps 100 points for every size of clothing lost (this is for some of us who don't see the movement on the scale but are noticing it in our clothing)? And what would everyone think about having more than 2 teams? I was thinking 4-5 people on a team would make it easier to keep up with your team members. |

First, Everyone is not required to join in. Just for peeps that would like a little something new. So I guess we need to know who would like to participate. Second, Team size can be determined by who wants to play. I think I am working on a map now. Anybody want to tell me about where they are I will put a bubble. |
