So I guess I should be kinda glad that my exes don't harass me for any reason?

'Course, I was always the dumpee. I'm guessing you ladies were not...

ugh my ex decided to email me this weekend lecturing me on why i should take all my money out of my 401k because its worthless and start buying up foreclosed houses.

wtf?

he must know my life is going really good that he's stepping in to me off.

That may very well be one of the stupidest pieces of advice I have ever heard....

x a billion
Perhaps he's trying to sabotage your financial well-being? Sorry, if someone already mentioned that. I'm not exactly thinking clearly today.

no, we only touched on how dumb he is.  he's certainly not smart enough to be so conniving.

probably something he heard in a locker room or an infomercial.  Saying it to sound smart.  I see the type all the time...

I laf at the ingorance..

ETA:  I'm almost tired of Tappage...  4 times this morning.

well, he may be the stupidest guy i've ever dated. the guy can't even do his own taxes and he's trying to explain to me why my 401K is garbage? i have 40 years till i collect on the stupid thing.

Yeah, that is ridiculously stupid!  We're young enough that all the value is going to come back.  we're still investing just as much as before.  There's no reason not to.

Lets see... Take your 401k balance... realize the losses... then add to it up to 20% for an excise and/or withdrawl penalty. Sounds brilliant

WTF is it 60 degrees here?  I had to wear a fleece hoody on my run on Sat. it was so cold.  I don't mind, becuase I love fleece and jackets, and can't wait to wear them.  But it's unseasonably cold right now....

Untrue. It never gets "too cold" here - at least not for me. You want cool weather for apples...

I lived in Boston for 5 years. And I survived. And I am considering going back. So that doesn't exactly make me whiny It's just very difficult to bike in the snow...

It's a little warm.  I liked it when it was in the 70s.  Hopefully it's back near there for the MCM.  80 is too warm.

You want cold?  Minnesota.  Once, I went up there in Feb. for a funeral.  I left the airport and it was SOOO cold, I started to panic a little.  You can just tell, that if you spent any time out there, you would die.  You're instincts just told you that it was bad to be outside.

(it was below zero, that day....).

They have to plug there cars into the wall sockets so the engine blocks don't freeze.  That's sick.
