JChristoff - 2009-09-18 8:50 AM Another interview where I meet 5 people I don't know... talk to an SVP... and I am already starting to losing my voice again. This is going to be fantastic.

Just use your middle finger to communicate for the rest of the day.

Tempting... very tempting... but I don't think that will help me possibly land this job

My son is going for his Green belt promotion in Karate tonight.
Later kids!

Good luck.  My two older boys were in Karate (not Karate America) and went through the program to the 1/2 way point (purple belt).  The cost started to get a little pricey with all the extra cost that was needed to join one of the two "teams" to continue on, and then the sparring equipment cost, etc.  We bowed out due to that.  Plus, I found it frustrating that some kids advanced because they made their X number of days to be allowed to test to the next level even though they didn't have the same skill set as those kids that worked harder and such.  I do applaud the kids for getting out there and trying their best, but, some kids didn't appear to be trying any harder.  That wasn't right.

Tonight my son sports a Green belt in Karate! My wife just about went through the roof when I presented him with his first pair of Sai!

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOUR BOY!  Now, bow to your Sensei.

Whilst writing up my RR last night, my phone starts buzzing.  I get a text message stating there's a picture waiting for me on USCellular\pics.

Nice shot, Jon!  BTW - I thought you learned your lesson from last time.

Go get 'em, 'Dog and 'Goggs!

Morning all....

Last night I discovered that 10 at night is the perfect time to swim... I had the whole pool.

TGIF, but I'm one of two people in my department here today.   Guess I can work on breaking that 100 post count line.

Saving that for tomorrow night
All though if it's anything like last year I wil have one margarita at dinner and go directly to bed, and not pass go. I'mna need some redbull for sure.

Wave - get some beers for post race. As in... immediately after you finish. They had free beer last year but it ran out probably due to my tri club . People usually kick it after this race for a few hours to watch everyone come in - it's cool to see the first Full Iron-Distance winner come in too. With many beers

Hello TAN.

4:30 cannot come fast enough today.  "Why" you ask?  Funny that you should ask such a great question.  Not funny ha ha, but funny ironic, as ironically, I actually have something to share in response to your one word question.  At 4:30 I am leaving work.  While that is typically enough to make any pencil pusher such as myself excited, as my main man Billy Mays would say, BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!!  Fortunately, the reason for my excitement is not some craptastic gadget that you will long have forgotten when the last of your four low monthly payments of $19.95 has been charged to your credit card.  That's right.  It's better than that.  I am going to directly to pick up a half barrel at 4:30 p.m., C.S.T.  Then I am going directly to one of the fine bike shops that sponsors our tri club.  I will then be assisting in connecting said half barrel to a CO2 tank and also to a cold plate and tapper.  I will then be drinking from cups filled from the tapper.  Oh yes,  I will drink from the cup.  Why?  Because that's how we roll at post Ironman parties here in Wisconsin.  Yes it is.
