Light dusting of snow due tonight. Maybe the weather will cool down enough to get some points.

My ipod was dead this am so I ran tune-less. Great to listen to that squeaky sounds of the snow under my feet with each step!
2 degrees this am! Ice cream headache weather.
Loved it though in the pre-dawn calmness....

Hmmm...  I live in Souther Colorado - about 2 hours from some of the finest ski areas in the country; however, we had 70 degrees yesterday and 60 today.  Guess I'm not going to complain about Crappy weather since it was actually worse when I was in North Carolina last week.

GIVE ME SOME SNOW before I have to turn my sprinklers back on.

This is me and my trail running partner, Cody the Australian Shepherd, after our run this morning. Love the frost on her mane and the icicle goatee! Not the fastest Aussie in the world, but she sure has fun out there. Cody says hi to Brewer from the other side of Lake Michigan!

Slackerville is where people live that haven't been keeping up with their training plans.

Don't worry John, snow is on its way. We went from warmer weather yesterday to snow today. It was supposed to be a light dusting but we got 4-5 inches and its 28F. Not that 28 is cold, especially when compared to what others are experiencing. And I'm not complaining. I'm excited. I'm already dressed and ready to go for a run during lunch.

bit jealous of you folks with running partners.  my fat arse pug will make it two houses down on a walk and turn around, sit and look back at the house.  she's a good dog though, just getting old and not really made for running.  enjoyed another sub zero run with me and the voices in my head all by there lonesome.  weather round here cooperating nicely finally!

Sounds like downtown Slackerville to me. In fact, I think we must be neighbors.

So you are saying maybe tomorrow unless it stalls out over the mountains again and dumps all it's moisture there......

Here is a picture of Brewer from Sunday when we were out snowshoeing.

He is a nice looking dog!  I would run with him...

Nichi

So would I. With those little short legs, I might even be able to keep up with him.

His legs aren't short, he is just standing in the snow.

FINALLY got some CWWC pts today!  It's been warm enough to have the windows open at work the last few afternoons.  Hope we get some real snow soon.  On the radio they were talking about the worst drought in 600 years for the SW -- seems like CO is included in that so far.

Made it through sinus surgery, but now I am stuck inside and missing all the cwwc points. The CC ski trails are open and missing out on great training time. Hope to be able to get out on the trails after Christmas.

I'm jealous. I might hit that this week if I'm really diligent.

Went in and added my workouts for the week. I got a whole 99 points so far this week but at least its cooled down enough that I'm getting some points again. The really sad thing is that my total score is barely over 10% of the person in the lead.

Some points at last! Just when I was starting to think this week would get written off, the temperature finally drops.

Just a shame the snow we were promised was a no show and that we go by actual temp + wind speed instead of wind chill (only x2 instead of x5). Still, at least it's being predicted that the weather is going to get a fair bit worse

Just saw there was a large update to BT.

Does anyone know about:

1 - Calories Burned will be LIVE...FINALLY

Where are the calories burned calculated? I didn't see it on the training log.

I spent two years in the London area and I have some wonderful memories of the winter storms in England. I sure miss it. As a final farewell, a big storm came through and dumped snow on London the day I flew back to the US. Needless to say, things were a little delayed.
