For gifts, I just got Unchartered 3, Assassins creed 4, MW3... BUT, I was looking into something different and considered Arkham City.  But since it was less than 20 bucks, and I wanted to see what started it.  I bought Arkham Asylum instead to see if I would like it (it was game of the year).  It is FANTASTIC!  I can't stop playing it.  I can't wait to finish it and get Arkham City.  Maybe I will wait till after the hollidays.  It might drop in price some.

Yeah my parents went 2 years ago for the final stage and said it was amazing (and they aren't even cyclists!). 

She just emailed me back and said Kona was likely on her schedule from now on, and would keep me posted. Helloooo free hotel room?? And yes she has the best job in the WORLD.

It's TAN. Nothing and everything is TMI.

The logistics are probably a nightmare.  But I would love to take a tour vacation.  I want to see several of the stages, including some of the epic MTN top finishes.  But you have to travel, camp out, etc.

My sister lives in Purtugal, SO, I did have a thought of having her house as a home base and at least see some of the stages in the southwest of france and/or when the dip into spain.  I would also like to RIDE some of the stages (well, portions of them - IE, the climbs)

I just played Uncharted 1 so I will move on to two next but I also want to play the new Elder Scrolls!!!!!

It could be the reason I was putting on weight...

The only good thing so far (I guess it's good).  Is I have not had an appetite for over a week now.  Stomach as been sketchy.  I have been eating enough because I need to, but it's kept me from eating a bunch of crap, or too big of portions.  Last night, however, I was finally famished and we went out for all you can eat sushi.  I did well.

I started with 2, then went back to 1 because it was cheap.  It was good too, but the game play got much better from 1 to 2, AND the story is better in 2.  3 is really good so far, but I'm only through 5 chapters or so.  The multiplayer is really fun.  I tend to like the co-op modes.  If you play deathmatch, it's different than MW or Medal of Honor and the like.  It's not as fast and furious as those games.  Plus you don't die as easily (it seems to me, so you can run from a mistake).

UNLIKE MW, MoH, Battlefield...  In those?  It seems like you are running one second and dead the next.  One or two shots and you are a goner.  I would love to get a group of friends to play with instead of random folks.  I have to mute them to not hear all the trash talk from strangers.  From friends?  It's cool, but not 13yr olds with mouths like sailors.

Is elder scroll the new Skyrim?  I thought about trying that out.

When I get 3 we can try some multiplayer.

You know, I have NEVER played anyone I know.  It's always been random peeps.

At least someone liked that one I thought it was funny.

I'm sure it is.  I had alligator tenders in FL.  SO freaking good.  I wish they had them here.

I've never played the PS3 online stuff, only the Xbox.

I was drinking tons.  Had that covered.  But the rest?  Oh well.

Know what the best thing ever would be?  Some third party develope a software to allow PS3 and Xbox users play online together.  Some kind of translator.

However, I'm guessing that neither company wants that, then it would make getting "their" system not as much of a factor, unless you want to play propiatary games.

I love uncharted and ratchet and clank, so I'm glad I have the PS3.  Same for Heavy Rain.  But I would LOVE to play Halo.  I guess I could get than on PC.

Traditionally, sailors spent long spells out at sea, so just being around a bunch of (often rough-hewn) guys all the time, manners and personal hygiene were not of high order. Also, when they called in to port, they stayed close and just went to dive bars and houses of ill repute, so to speak.

Foot soldiers tended to be around society more and therefore had to behave a little better.

Of course, times are very different now, but just try telling that to the chAir Force.
