GO RACING MANATEES!!!!
Good luck all, checking in, I've been following as best I can but it's been a long week and honestly a demorilizing one. Hope to get some good training in this week good luck to all this weekend. Salty I'm with you on the pumpkin beer but not a fan of PumKing from southern tier, too sweet for me I like the Weyerbacher though.

Seattle | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Straight-Up Ridiculous Manatees Part 5 - FULL I tend to like the sweet beers in moderation. Speaking of, I brought 21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon out to the canal over the weekend. Sad it's a summer seasonal. I'll have to try the Weyerbacher and report back! |

Master 4452 | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Straight-Up Ridiculous Manatees Part 5 - FULL cdban66 - 2012-09-07 10:35 AM Well, after my run last night and my swim this AM, I think the $120 is going towards bills. I think if I went for the race, I would just be mad, because I don't feel like I have it, even to just 'participate'. Swim this morning was really tough, tired, off balance. I've really been focusing on my running for my HM at end of Sept, so will just save it for that. So, common sense then???? Yep, sadly. Does that get me kicked out of the Manatees?? I am pretty commonsensical when it comes to my racing and training and I haven't been kicked out. All you have to do is sprinkle a little nonsense into your non-training and it should be fine. |

Alas we do not get them out here in South Carolina. And I looked for those shoes but my New Balance discount doesn't include racing flats, sorry |

Alas we do not get them out here in South Carolina. And I looked for those shoes but my New Balance discount doesn't include racing flats, sorry Awwwww well. Thanks for checking anyway! Really, I am just being cheap. I hate paying full price for shoes. Especially racing flats. Half the miles, twice the price! |

Elite 4435 | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Straight-Up Ridiculous Manatees Part 5 - FULL Yay the sun is shining so I can do my long run this morning when DH gets back from his training boot camp. Sadly Artemis not well again - I think this virus has really knocked her about and the slightest thing sets off her little tummy. so back on plain dry toast today maybe some pasta - no dairy no meat etc til it settles. She has a slight fever which the Greeks say feels worse than a high fever...go figure. I'm a little down - don't know why but I will still post 3 x smiley faces. I'm not going back to 2 no way! |

In the meantime, I'll see your , and raise you ...just cause I am feeling silly tonight. As for me, I have my last tri of 2012 tomorrow--a mostly sprint, almost olympic distance (1000m, 20mi, 4mi), Last year I did it in 2:54:36---This year I am aiming for 2:15:00...So the hard part will be putting all school/job/money issues out of my head for this---I must FOCUS! |

WOW we certainly know how to put ourselves under pressure! I did get to run/walk 15km took a long time 1.51 BUT I had a headwind, both out and back - WTF! It's soooo windy here again, oh and I had sun I had showers I had it all. I enjoyed it despite the slowness, I went a different route from usual - flat instead of undulating torture, My glutes were objecting the whole time coz of yesterday's ride, but I did it. On a downer I couldn't go to squad because Artemis wanted to nap - in mummy's bed with mummy - now i don't need to be asked twice to go for an afternoon nap and was happy to oblige! Her temperature is raised again so Fotis has taken her to the doctor to demand action! She is so weak - whatever she puts in her body comes straight back out down the toilet! Not pretty! Well fingers crossed he gets results! Thanks for your smiley faces - I'm hormonally depressed today, nothing more than that and it's fine, let's up the maca powder dose a little! |

Elite 4435 | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Straight-Up Ridiculous Manatees Part 5 - FULL Well I was going 2 and a half but I'm not that bad! worked out it's exactly one month since a major emotional outburst and anxiety etc so could definitely be hormonal. So monitor again for another month see how we go. Doctor finally prescribed antibiotics for Artemis and couldn't understand why previous doctor hadn't taken this action already - shouldn't have an upset stomach for more than three days, five tops she said. This is two weeks! My neighbour could not believe how skinny she looks. so now we got to try and fatten her up - and she has no appetite! Awesome! |
