MotoQueen  13195     |  Subject: RE: November "You Choice" Challenge Team Wild Hippo'slyssa-gator - 2007-11-11 10:22 AM ok, i'm changing my stats from yesterday. i had time for a quickie this morning, so i just did 30 minutes of core stuff, and then a quick out and back, 2.5 miles. so that brings me to 65 minutes biking out of 180=36% 20.8 miles running out of 75=28% 4.5 lbs out of 10 lost =45% for a total of 36.3% hopefully i did that right, Lyssa, Lyssa, Lyssa, you need to share your "quickie" with Twisnibbins. They will get a kick out of that! |

Champion 26509  Sydney | Subject: RE: November "You Choice" Challenge Team Wild Hippo's Reno8 - 2007-11-12 7:04 AM L-Gator Too bad it was a "quicky" otherwise it could be listed as HARD-CORE  November's totals: Bike: 30m 07s - 7.06 Mi (goal 25) Run: 1h 28m 32s - 9.4 Mi (goal 32) Strength: 2h 10m (goal 8) I gots to get moving...just can't seem to get the long runs and rides in to get caught up. The weather has been WONDERFUL but I haven't taken advantage of it. Have a long (for me) run scheduled for Tuesday and a good bike ride with friends on Wednesday. Cat....I was able to go to another computer and get my stuff posted for this week. My computer is still on the fritz and it goes to the shop on Monday so I may be off the site for a day or two. SteveHi Steve no problem!!! Enjoy the great weather... after 10 days of gray adn rain here I am at my desk looking out at a sunshiny day... its glorious!!!! If that doesnt get me motivated then i think I must be a lost cause!!! |

Elite 2634 in front of my computer duh! | Subject: RE: November "You Choice" Challenge Team Wild Hippo's Hello everyone. i see some impressive numbers for this week! good job to everyone! i am a little disappointed in myself in not getting in as many miles as i had hoped. i am at 29.13 miles for the month. i wanted to be at about 40 miles but find myself about 11 miles short. so as i stand i have 70.87 miles to run for the rest of the month. defiantly have to start moving. i hope to get in one run today before it gets too dark or i have to go to work. |

Extreme Veteran 395 Cincinnati | Subject: RE: November "You Choice" Challenge Team Wild Hippo's I thought I was feeling better by last night, so I went ahead and ran almost 30 min. this morning.. it felt great to move! but by the middle of the morning I was losing my voice and the sinus headache that eats my whole face was returning. My wife has talked me into making plans to rest and call in sick tomorrow. I never call in sick! But, I think I will stop fighting it and just get some rest. It is just so much work getting lesson plans put together for a sub. Bad news is, I will probably lose the planned swim for tomorrow. And, you know, maybe work out over Thanksgiving break. well dont push too hard otherwise your body never gets a chance to recover and you end up staying sick for a very long time. one year a few guys got sick on my water polo team at the beginning of the season and didn't give themselves enough time to recover and they were sick the entire season and then some and ended up not playing a lot because of it. So get better first and then worry about fitting in your workouts. |

I had the day off today and so I decided to take a little run. well that little run turned into a big run. so for my first workout of the week I ran 11.24 miles in 1hour and 43 minutes. that brings my grand total for the month up to 47.58 miles out of 100. I am right on target with meeting my goal for the month. |
