Subject: RE: Why do emails from my ex still make my heart stop? The one who dates immediately after a relationship (of substance length), is the one who is not processing what happened, but instead running to find someone else for a workable co-dependence. The one who who takes the breather to review is the one who has higher priorities for happiness and love. Why does he still affect you? We could give positive and negative takes, both can be right. Alas, what is chemistry? Is it what we were conditioned to feel is love (whether healthy or not) in childhood? Or, is it truelly the magic that makes us magnetic and resonates with our chi? Since we don't know...maybe we can say that you found elements of him that DID resonate with you, and you are still tapping into them. There is a human need to preserve that part...keep it alive. But as you and others have pointed out...to what expense? My guess is...he may be missing those same parts and he's emailing you. But like so many others here have said, it may be and sounds like the best way for you to protect yourself is to block him. That takes strength...you go girl. I just reread what i wrote...should i be giving out vomit bags? |
