This is great to know! I did a trial run this evening and the sand was not wiping off, I had to squirt my feet with a water bottle.

Agreed, don't bring a bucket of water. Usually transitions are overly crowded already.

Bring a bottle of water and squirt your feet if you think you need to get the sand off, but usually just a towel is fine.
