Yeah you need to make sure you are protected.  There is a difference between not going after this guy and just letting it go.

My wife was in a fender bender recently.  Pretty much a no-fault accident.  I even went down and helped the other lady pull the bumper away from the tire so she could drive home.  Everyone one happy.

Fast forward 3 months.  The other woman is now claiming wiplash and a bunch of other BS injuries.  Insurance should cover it but it could have been worse.

Protect yourself.
