The only shark I've seen was a nurse shark when out snorkeling.  He was just hanging out and let my buddy take a few pictures before we left.  It was pretty cool.

I have not seen sharks during OWS trainigs....but...I have had unexpected encounters with nurse sharks during our scuba-dives at the Keys, Florida

Also...I have done some dives with them...
