Add my name to the list for a west end gig. Kelso would be great, but I'm open to any where on the west end.
Another reason Kelso would be good... you could do a bike workout after the swim. Hill repeats on Appleby Line anyone? LOL
Only if it is the south hill on Appleby line. (Just joking, I went down that on my bike last summer and have never been more scared in my entire life).
Daffodil, Of course the south side... but we could always make it a tour, do all the hills up Rattlesnake, including: Appleby (North & South), Bell School Line, 14th, and Steeles.. & just to make your legs hurt some more we could go over to 6th line and do that one as well. LOL
Juniperjen, yes, yes I am!!
Of course there is a nicer hill that I didn't know about until 2011... heading west up Limestone Rd. It's not the steep climbs of those other roads, but it is a LOOOONG climb in beautiful surroundings. Tree lined and lovely. This road ends at Guelph Line but it's well worth the ride... the day I did it with my friend, we saw 1 or two cars total during the entire climb at mid-day. Not much reason for any one to use it but the residents of the street.
We'll have to get a BT group out and play on the hills in the area.
I'm curious where Limestone Rd is. I couldn't google map it. I never find any long climbs, so this would be good to know about. The longest I can think of is Mississauga Rd starting at King St.
