Hey! Just to let you all know I got my Ipod back!  Turns out it was dumped at a Walmart not too far from the gym, the little mexican boy who is 9 picked it up and took it home as his.  Turns out they don't speak ANY English at all. Really don't care to be honest just glad to have it back. The chances of finding my green card has risen slightly too as hopefully Walmart may have it!  Seems unlikely though, thought they would have handed it to the cops? Maybe not! But PHEW! Sigh of relief!!!!  No more pictures of kids making stupid faces!!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for your green card too... but I have a question about the Green Card... will you continue to keep it in your wallet?  Or maybe just keep a photocopy with you if anything?  I only ask because when I left the interview and told me I'd be getting it, they specifically said that I should have it with me at all times, though I'm always just a bit nervous that I've got it with me!   

No I will not. I never kept my other one in my wallet. I still can't think why I had it there!  I'll take photocopies of it. That's all I need really. I've never had to hand it over to anyone except immigration coming back to the US.  Buying a safe and keeping everything in there!  So glad to have at least one item back, even if I don't get my GC back at least I can sell the other IPOD I bought to put towards the expense of re-filling..

Makes sense and I think that's what I'm going to do - make a colour copy and then leave the real one safely at home!   

My poor little pea brain will just have to remember it whenever I travel outside of the country... 

You can attach it to your passport :D I did that with my first one. I'm obviously slacking at being a resident these days lol This way it reminded to me to bring it when travelling back to Scotland. Worked!
