Thanks guys, it was great meeting all of you!

How was the ride back? A little quicker this time?

Dan...the road bike...road bike...road bike shopping is in progress, for sure. The guys at my LBS (Overtime Sports) are going to see what they can pick up in discounted/outdated models...I think they can get KHS, Miele, and RMB. The RMB will be way more expensive, but the Solo 30 is just so pretty. I don't think Miele has anything above Tiagra. Some of the KHS bikes actually look pretty decent. I've also got my eye on the Giant OCR1. The Trek 1200 isn't a bad bike for the price, but not spec'd as well as the Giant. Trek 1200 and RMB Solo 10 are spec'd more or less evenly and both somewhere in the neighbourhood of $1200 with 105/Tiagra. The OCR1 can be had for nearly the same price and is mostly Ultegra with some 105.

It kinda makes me wonder what's wrong with the Giant, but Leah, you're obviously happy with them...ugh...damn bike shopping is always so difficult.

Anyhow, great ride, I really had fun, even if I couldn't make it back!

Leah, I may go into work early tomorrow so I can run, if my legs can handle it. I'll let you know if I'm going tomorrow. If you don't hear from me, assume I'm not. Although, I'm not sure you want to be slowed down twice in a row!

I'm looking forward to doing it again, but the 10th might be out for me. I'm getting talked in to doing the race at Baker.
