1 ) You are probably doing enough. Great advice on looking several years back in people's logs and seeing what they started with
2 ) It's OK to do weights if you want to
3 ) Look into a book called "swim workouts in a binder" by gale bernhardt, she can help you figure out how to spend your 40 minutes in the pool
4 ) Drills are a good investment of time as technique is vital in swimming, less so in running and even less so in biking (but still important in all three )
5 ) Don't be offended by anything you read on an internet forum. Having this discussion in a rooom full of chips & dip, beer, pretzels and some board games, it would probably have a comletely different tone. |
