Can't wait to see it...and hear the story that goes along with it. Yeah, it's uncomfortable, but it's so cool too. Congrats Ironman (Ironwoman)!!!!

That is gorgeous! Just keep sunblock on it and the color will hang.

I think if I can ever make it to an ironman and survive (not place, survive!) , i would probably get the m-dot, and then keel over and die because there couldn't be anything in life to top that. I'm envious and I just wish there was a way to make that endurance come quicker.

Phoenix-
Well since I didn't want to loose all the work I've put in, we signed up for another one in october! Actually, technically it's not an "M-dot" race but it is Iron distance and that is good enough for me!

I felt I was very under prepared for this race and in talking to people on the run, I was very well prepared. I wanted a better bike split, but I got a flat and actually enjoyed getting off the bike to pee in the porta potties and talk to volunteers. Finish time 15:18, swim 1:22, bike 8:07, run 5:30.

Between now and October 23, I will be working on my biking with trying to maintain running form and swimming speed (well, maybe I can improve that too )
