Did anyone else catch that the same symbol that was on the food cans in the pantry was on the tail of the shark that almost got Sawyer? I have TIVO and watched a lot of the show in slow mo tonight. They are hiding symbolism everywhere!

I am sooooo intrigued now. Hook, line, and sinker...they've got me!  So what's the resetable timer about?  How are Desmond and Jack interrelated?

Yeah but tonight's episode did kind of suck...no new info at all, pretty much. Didn't catch that thing about the shark's tail. Maybe all the "new" info they are giving us is now amazingly subtle? Did you notice that the gift Mike gave to Walt as a baby was...a polar bear?

Still love it.

So last night, in the previews for next week...someone please tell me those weren't zombies. Zombies would definitely equal shark jumping...

Yeah, last night was kind of boring, but then again, EVERY episode can't be spectacular, right? I didn't catch the symbol on the food/shark, but that's very interesting. Check out this time line. Did ya check out Desmond's living situation? The whole set up looks to be about 30 years old. And just how long ago did Jack and Desmond meet? Not that long, right? And when they faced each other, it seemed to me that Jack recognized Desmond more than Desmond recognized him. And what could the "Others" possibly want with Walt?? Child Sacrifice????

One last thing: Would Charley toss the Virgin Mary full of crack/coke? He's doing so well! And I wish they would find some reason to bring Boone back... Just my thoughts.

My guess is that Bob Denver is going to come back from the dead on the show!

Desmond has to be a twin or there is some type of space time warp going on.

You know what bugs me? They are on an ISLAND! How come they've never seen or run into these people? I know they've 'heard' them or 'thought' they saw something and obviously these are not the kind of people you want to run into...but they are on an island! With a polar bear and some kind of monster/dinosaur/creature. ??? C'mon!

When the raft was floating away in the first part of the season finale, I think Mike, Sawyer, Jin, and Walt saw for the first time how large the island actually was. Sayid, Boone, & Locke are the only ones that we know that have really ventured Way out there. I know this is almost obvious, but the Island has all the mystic of the fabled Bermuda Triangle. A pirate ship, 2 airplanes, and polar bears all on one island. Oooooh my theory on the polar bears is that some research/zoo vessil crashed on the island. Not very dramatic, but it's all I can come up with for now. I don't actually think there is any magic or whatever, I just think it's all a series of mystical coincidences.

Those better not be zombies. I thought they were The Others chasing after Jin when he escaped. Anyone notice in the previews that it looked like the Others had captured some people, and one of them was the girl that was hitting on Jack in the airport and who was sitting in the back of the plane.

It was the girl in the previews and she said she was from Flight 815.  I don't think they were zombies, just the weird others.  I think the Bermuda Triangle theory is a good possibity.  I didn't think last night was boring, just intriguing. They can't give answers every episode. Afterall, we went all last season without any.

Don't mean to be a wrecker, but I watched until an ex-Iraqi Republican Guard radioman just happened to be on the plane and just happened to figure out in his head that the iterations of the radio message meant it had been playing for something like 14 years. That was, what? Episode 2, 3? I saw the shark right there.

I think it was a great idea that just couldn't be a great show. Loved the concept at first, but quickly realized that the studio would want to make it live for multiple seasons, when I think the concept would work better like a book--open it and close it, don't drag it on forever.
