I can't get mine to load either, but I ran a marathon yesterday and my nano died at mile 16, so I lost 10.2 miles of data.

Anyone else having trouble with battery life and the new attachments? I didn't seem to have battery issues until the nike+.

I haven't ran that far myself, but I know the battery life on these are supposed to be a LOT longer.  I can go for days listening to mine, and not have to charge it.  If you are having battery issues with your device, it should be covered by the warranty, if you are still inside that window.

Alternatly, run the battery ALL the way down, wait an hour for the battery to "regenerate" (not charge - batteries will find some new life), run it down again, and again.  Once you can get no "life" from the battery, charge it for a couple of days.

It seems to bring back some laptop batteries (anyone remember hooking up lightbulbs to your laptop batteries to discharge them?)...

Thanks for the tips.  My one year warranty was up in December (of course), so that's out, I did send apple an email for a new battery today.  I do leave it on the bedside alarm clock charger when I'm not using it, so maybe I fried it overcharging it.  It's deader than dead from yesterday, so we'll see how it re-charges.  Thanks again!!

Finally got on to the website today and i worked without any problems. Glad they finally fixed it. One thing though...when i try to view my runs by week instead of individually for the week of dec. 31- jan. 6 nothing shows up. the runs are there when viewed individually or by the month. weird. anyone else come across this?

The only week that shows blank for me is Christmas week, when I did not run.  With two blizzards (one before, one after Christmas), I had to resort to other exercise.  Unfortunately, the iPod would not register on the NordicTrac.

I HAVE noticed that January runs are not updating my resolution, but are being recorded and counted against challenges.  Still a bit more to work out, I guess.

I also got the Nano in my Christmas stocking. On my first run, I felt like the Nike guy on the commercial.... unfortunately, about a mile later, I didn't feel so much like the Nike guy. My fiance HAS found a way to get me running, though, with this thing. I really like it, and would like to join the challenge, if you allow slow runners to get on board with this... thanks.

I signed in for the Jan Int/adv challenge just so that I would still be on the list for Feb. I've used/gotten credit for less than 16 of the 69 miles I ran so far this month so it looks like I'm at the bottom of the basement after being 2nd last month. Speaking of last month's challenge, Autumn can you wait a day or two before totally them out at the end of the month? I was in FL on vacation/running Goofy w/ limited internet access so you had already closed out the challenge by the time I got my iPod hooked in to the 'net w/ my Dec 31st run. Not that it mattered- Nick runs way, way more than any of the rest of us.

I'm setting up a beginner's February challenge, and I've started a thread here:  http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=64941&posts=1#M669962

In my defense, the only reason my mileage is where it's at is because I have a marathon coming up in March, otherwise I would be working my way up to clydsdale status.
The scary thing is just how motivating it is to see that stupid little graph pop up when you log into Nike +. For me it's the difference in maybe going a little extra instead of cutting the run short. Weird.

Question: Does anyone else's calibrated Nike + unit work just fine on the treadmill and have it seriously short you on outside runs? I'm talking getting credit for doing like 2 miles of an almost 9 mile run- those were some exceptionally slow miles according to the iPod. Yes, I trust the GPS unit plus the site I've had it happen twice at is used as a certified course and the markings are probably quite accurate. I know I did almost 9 that day and a little over 6 last weekend. But the 9 mile day it was 10 F out and the 6 mile run off the bike on Sunday was about 19 F. Mom thinks it's the cold but her Nike + is working fine. I wear mine in a case on my arm and she puts hers into her pocket but it seems like anything was cold sensistive it should be the foot pod and not the Nano that plays the entire time. I don't know????

OK - I'll start an Nike + intermediate challenge for Feb.  Whoever logs the most miles between 2/1 and 2/28

PM me your Nike+ screen name or the email address you registered on Nike + with...

I'll also post in the main Challenge forum.
