There were also inconsistencies about things he told me from the first time to this time. So, I'm now getting the feeling that he's a game player and just trying to tell me what I want to hear, so he can get what he wants. Not planning on going out with him again, but I am glad that I went this time, cause now I know for sure. Closure! |

Bummer ... but next time you get into this situation, order the Opus (or any other ridiculously priced but tasty wine) and then watch him squirm when he discretely checks the price. If you know that you ware not going to go out with him again and/or made plans + did not follow through, then you might as well have fun with the rest of the evening! ... Just be sure to get up and leave when the check is being brought. (Amazing how your perspective on dating changes the moment you have a daughter.) |

Wish I could say a whirlwind trip around the world - but unfortunately, I got an unfriendly reminder from life that it isn't always fun or kind, so I went over to the dark side temporarily. I find it's better (for me) to just give into it and let the current take me rather than to fight it - it lets go sooner. So I'm feeling much better now and am ready to get back to happy me.
