Two daughters that are 18 months apart.  Oldest will be 19 next week, younger is 17.

Best of friends and each others biggest enemy in the same breath.  As different as night and day in personality but no mistaking my girls as sisters.  When they were little they were mistaken for twins.  Sometimes I have to look at date stamps on old pics to remind myself which one I am looking at.

My daughter is 8.  I've loved the last few years especially - she's such a great character.  She is full of confidence I am sure i never had at that age.

I don't find it's going by too quick but I am enjoying it all the same.

*sigh*

I have 3. 21 year old girl, 12 year old boy, and a 7 year old girl. I have moments when I want to hide in the bathroom from them with a jar of Nutella, then I find that my 7 year old daughter used my phone to text her 21 year old sister who in the states, far away going to school.

Went like this:
Hi Tiffany I love you Love Mia
me miss you :-) <--- she discovers the smile key
i want to skyp :-)
please skyp me :-) (Oldest was asleep and youngest loves the smile key)
pleeeaaaasssseeeee :-)
i love you love mia :-)
skyp me :-)
when are you comming home :-)

These are all like minutes from each other, lol! Made me miss my oldest even more and love them all for loving each other so much.

great thread, made me think of the little ones for a while :-)

I'm away on business right now but talk to them twice a day on facetime.

I have 4, ages 10, 5, 2 and 7 months my son is the eldest and three girls.

I agree that raising kids is the biggest joy in life, I also think it's a privilege to guide them as they grow.

2 daughters aged 18 and 16. Older daughter goes off to college this August. She catches me looking at her from time to time and asks 'what?'. I don't have an answer for that. She and younger daughter have gotten very close the past 2 years, and I think are starting to relaize how much they're going to miss each other. Both are just all around good kids. Makes me feel like I've done at least one thing right.

:)  I remember feeling that way too!

When my first turned one, I remember having a complete blubbering meltdown and saying to my husband--we only have 17/18ths left!  (I was pregnant with #2 at that point, so maybe I was hormonal;))

It does go fast.  My oldest will be 8 next week and she's starting to crack jokes that are funny with good delivery, and when things are crazy she can totally step it up and take care of business with her siblings or around the house or farm.  So cool to see them evolve into their own little selves.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I could go on forever, but the latest update is on the just turned 4yo.  She wants to race like her big brother, but we were a little worried about her being comfortable doing 25yds in a big pool unassisted.  Last night at swim lessons, they were swimming in the competitive pool (i.e. freezing cold), and her instructor just sent her off swimming a 25 back.  No hesitation and no pauses.  That 25 turned into a 50, followed by 50 free.  We signed her up for her first triathlon last night.  Her comment on the whole thing, "Daddy, I'm going to win."  No doubt.

4 kids (8, 6, 4, and 3) here. I don't feel as if it's going by too quickly at all. There are days when I feel overwhelmed and tired, but I love being at home with my kids. Parenting brings me lots of joy and I am so proud of the people I'm raising

My 3 yo nearly smoked me on skis this past weekend.  I think I have 3 years til I can't keep up with her.  I love skiing with her.  Especially on closing day when she was dressed as a princess.  When she wanted to wear both her princess costume and her wonder woman cape I couldn't refuse- she's only 3 once.

I'm already convincing her that when she's bigger she's going to have to wait for mom.  I wish this ski season had gone on forever.

We have 5 children. Three boys, ages 24, 17, 14 and two girls 22 and 10.  Oldest son has his own business and the oldest daughter will start med school in the fall.  Yes, time passes too quickly, its amazing how fast they grow up.

MY girl is 11 and my son turned 9 today. It seems like just yesterday their mom was telling me she was prego and now my girl is setting up her electives for Jr High next year. I feel like if I blink  they will be graduating HS and then adults.
