According to a Myers-Briggs a few years ago, I'm ENTP, like hangloose. Hi hangloose! I took a test in a training a couple years ago and was INTP. This test says I am ISTP. I know when I took it a while back I was on just a hair away from the middle of everything. Introverted, but not a recluse and such. There is only one thing that is for sure. I am definitely a P. I am the messiest person on earth with no plan and no map to get me any where. That's the way I roll. In reality, I am the biggest extrovert there is. Seriously. When I take the real M-B I score almost all the way to the E end of the scale. In the others I'm more balanced. What's cool is, introvert is not about "shyness" or misanthropy - it's just whether you get energized from being around other people, or alone. For me, I'm OVERLY energized around other people - am afraid I'll be bouncing off the walls at the BT Galveston beach house tonight! And it's hard for me to tidy up my room unless I'm talking on the phone, or even better, have a close friend parked on the couch keeping me company. Of course I have to remove the large pile of clothing from the couch first! But i totally respect people who need the "alone" time to get their energy together. My sister is kinda like that. She gets up at 4am to have a cup of tea and write, THEN takes care of her family and work responsibilities. Has for years. People are cool. |
