BT bowl pick'em 2013 (Page 2)

Fortunately everyone picked Baylor, so it's just a matter of where you had your confidence level.  I'm also betting that most people had them pretty high (I did) so it's probably a wash.

I know I'm a little biased by the B1G, but I just had a feeling about my Huskers and MSU.  I really thought MSU's defense was overrated for most of the season, but after they played Ohio State I started to wonder and then they stopped Stanford.  I'm calling MSU a solid team now and the teams that beat up on each other in the B1G are all a step higher, IMHO.  Even Iowa hung with LSU for most of the game and they're not exactly a B1G powerhouse.

I'm feeling pretty good about Ohio State v. Clemson and I'm thinking the SEC may be a little overrated this year so feeling good about FSU as well.  

So like I was saying...

I still had Bama picked as the winner because I wasn't super confident in Oklahoma, but I dropped them as low as I could in confidence after the SEC's games yesterday and am glad I did.

I'm hoping you both picked the opposite of me for the game tonight.

I've got FSU as well, but win or lose, you'll be in the same spot because I think we both have it at 35.  That's why I feel you should pick Auburn. lol

So, the real question is....   Do I leave it the way I've had it all year with FSU winning or switch to Auburn and hope for one more Auburn miracle finish for the BT win.  

I think this is why they don't show who you picked to win ahead of time.  Too much opportunity to "game play".   If you have a strong lead and the contenders below you have the same pick then just match there picks to guarantee a win.  Same thing with my situation.  If Josh mentions who he went for then I can switch for a hail mary on Auburn.  

I won't do it though, it's a little too underhanded for me.  Plus I think FSU is going to kill them.

It was such a weird game for me to watch because I wanted both teams to win for various reasons.  I loved the Auburn story and how they got there.  It would have been awesome to see them pull it out and put a bow on such a crazy season.  However, I'm so sick and tired of all the SEC fan boys and them winning every year that I wanted FSU to win and finally break the streak.
Then again as a Nebraska fan, I hate FSU, so I really wanted them to lose.  haha

All in all, I really didn't care who won and it was a great game.
