ESPN College Game Day SUCKS!!! (Page 2)

That is the problem with Tech right now.  No one knows at this point because of their schedule.  Now if they go to Lincoln this weekend and put a whoopin on Nebraska then they probably deserve a top 25 ranking, but let's not confuse this years Nebraska team with the Nebraska teams of the 90's.

Don't drag me A&M into this! I never claimed we were good this year, or last...We couldn't beat Clemson and barely beat Baylor, might as well have lost.

I'm certainly not claiming Tech is a top 10 team and frankly, he started it.

It was a team that had absolutely no interest in playing in that bowl game.  They went from expecting to be in a BCS bowl to playing in the Holiday Bowl against Texas Tech.  They weren't really into it.

Sigh....children, children....Its *just* football....Ducks, leaves again!!!

I'm just bored b/c A&M isn't good this year (I'm still standing by them) and I don't have much to add.

Fair enough, still, if Tech is/was such a sorry team it wouldn't have mattered.

I don't believe I said Tech is or was a sorry team.  Last year, they were a decent team.  This year, the jury is still out.  That's all I'm say'in.

If I root for an SEC team, its LSU all the way.

Oh, was that the original point??  They are just trying to spread it around.  They go to Knoxville at least once a year and the SEC 2 or 3 times.  I wish I was in Knoxville this weekend.

I don't think we'll have a problem. Only when A&M and Tech play each other. Then I'm going for a run.

Best game in the country according to who?  Everybody who has a big game coming up thinks they should come to their town.  Is the fact that they won't be in Knoxville going to change your enjoyment of the game?

Not at all.....I actually prefer that they not be there because Corso is bad luck for UGA!!! Strictly speaking you have #5 vs #8 how can that not be the best game. If UT vs OU was a Top 10 match up they would be there in Dallas.

I was just thinking about that, seems like they did not come to Dallas last year.  Or it might have been the year before.  One of the last 2 years they were not there and Texas and OU were both in the top 10.

Anyway, I will be by the channel cheering for UGA.  After the Cotton Bowl this year I never want to hear that damn Rocky Top again as long as I live.
