Had to look that one up. They’re basically like an evil Genie. Genies are made of air, Ifreeti (pl) are made from fire. I like where that storyline is going. I hope the Jessica/Tara catfights aren’t going to be a regular thing. I liked the scene between the two of them at the bar and I sort of like the idea of them becoming Vampire BFF’s. I forgot that Jessica was turned against her will too, so they have that in common. I bet Sam makes it. Not so sure about his lady friend though. I too liked the idea of Jessica and Tara being friends. |

Question is, who raises the daughter? Sam? Or maybe Alcide? Maybe he gives her to the pack-mother who lost her son? |

Champion ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() All right, so Sam and his lady lived. I guess I'm OK with that. What Eric said to the Wolf man (Elcy? What the heck is his name?) was funny... that if he touched Sookie he would find it repulsive. Too bad Tara and Jessica aren't going to be friends... over Hoyt. Fire monster... or is it a smoke monster? That's a new one. Hum. I think we all saw Russell E. making it after being captured. I was pretty sure they were not silvering him in his cell and that he was just fine. |

Pro ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() my questions: 1. Did Roman really have the true death? Not sure I saw him implode like others that got stabbed 2. I am so over the Sookie storyline. her and Jason bore me Fairies=yawn 3. Terry and the fire/smoke genie is ridiculous IMO 4. Hoyt?? what??
Seems liek the most interesting parts to me are Eric and Bill teaming up and what they are about to discover and Alcide and the wolfpack
5. oh yeah, Lafeyette, what is going on with him? |

5. oh yeah, Lafeyette, what is going on with him? Roman is dead I think... but ya no exploding bag of goo. And who didn't see that coming? They were "wrapping it up" too quick. I'm no 2000 year old vampire, but even I knew it was not gong to be that easy. I'm irritated because the chancellor that busted in and got Russel from Bill and Eric.. well they all told him it was a woman. He was going to interrogate them... but then killed them all. So he is just incompetent at finding out who the traitor is or is in on it. That's 4 Chancellors now, Eric's sister, the boy, Roma's woman, and supposedly the security guy... not a real firm grip on the vampire world for Roman. Everything else is still way too scattered. They are getting deeper into all the characters and giving them bigger parts, but no real unified story line like in the past. And I really like a lot of the characters themselves, but it is at the expense of the actual show. At this point I would rather just focus on Russel and the vampire politics and watch all hell break loose from "coexistence".

Champion ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Please….please….please…make the dancing fairies stop. Please. Is it me, or was there five and a half minutes of watching the all-fairy dance revue for a total of eleven seconds of dialogue when they went inside the magic invisible fairy nightclub? Or did it just seem that way? I started to get excited (no, no, not that kind of excited—simmer down…) when it looked like Tara and Jessica were going to be Vampire BFF’s, but now that Tara’s just “Angry Tara, except now she’s a vampire”, I’m not really that interested. I liked the Wolfman’s line to the woman who stood up to second Alcide, “I always thought you were too pretty not to be stupid.” Mean, but I laughed. Ok, haha, iStake. We get it. Funny. Enough, now. Let’s not talk about the iStake anymore, shall we? The scene with Jason and his dad’s ghost was cute. When he was talking about how he liked when his dad used to call him “Champ”, it suddenly got very dusty in my apartment. Coincidentally. Wait, now, Sam could smell from across the room that the store clerk went into “survival mode” and instinctively knew that he needed to put a crossbow bolt in his chest? Um. Ok. Yeah, so now there’s an evil Middle-Eastern Smoke-monster. Which it’s possible to run away from on foot. Even though it can get inside a locked room and kill someone. Who it apparently was unable to find and kill earlier, even though he’s been inside that locked room for a while. Because it was trying to kill Terry and Arlene at their house in BonTemps. But then it stopped trying to kill Terry and Arlene and instead decided to try and kill the reclusive guy hiding in the cellar. But it couldn’t kill him because he was hiding in the cellar. But then it could, and it did. And then it chased Terry and the Sergeant, but they got away. By running/driving. From the mythological smoke demon that could appear inside a locked room. And which apparently made its way from Iraq to Louisiana. I could go on like this for a while and it isn’t going to start making any more sense than it does now. |

The guy who busted in, and who killed all those regular people in the van... was in on the plot to let Russel live. Is that what you were saying? Not sure. I miss Sookie and Eric being together. As I pointed out to my boyfriend, there's not a whole lot of relationship stuff going on...it's just all fighting and gore. Edited by KSH 2012-07-16 9:48 PM |

Everything you said is so true... but I didn't think of it till you wrote it! What is UP with the MALE dancing fairies? And there sure it a lot of it. You are right. Maybe it's the "sex" scene, since we aren't getting it from anyone else anymore. Except for that one passing moment with Sookie and Alcide. Angry Tara is ANNOYING. Ugh. Yes, the moment in the store with Sam shooting the guy was a bit silly. But the Smoke-monster... not adding up at all! How the hell does it burn down a house and not kill anyone? Hum. Not a very good demon if you ask me. And they can run from it. Also, the guy in locked room said he had smoke detectors/sprinklers in there. AND they didn't GO OFF? Hum. I guess talking about the smoke-monster is like a dog chasing its tail. Never going to get it. |

Is that what you were saying? Ya... because Eric and Bill knew it was a woman from Sookie. The security vamp heard about it and asked the humans and they all told him they could ID her. So ya they have Eric's sister, but that does not mean it was her... or heck just show them a picture to be sure... but he killed them all. So sure I understand him killing them all just to wrap up any witnesses... but if he is on Roman's side, then you have to make sure you get all the conspirators... don't ya think that would be kind of important? So then instead he could be in on it. He killed all the witnesses so nobody else would find out.... they were already taking Eric and Bill back with the istakes. |

Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() So it was Roman's SO. OK... that was a pretty funny episode. ...hate groups are about more than hate... ...and we will hate her right here with you... I'm sorry, that was funny. OK... I'm lost. I missed the bit of dialog where they explained "Lilith". What is here story again? The Vamps are on the loose. Lilith appears... not bad... And Godrick reappears to talk with Eric. You know, I always like the Eric 's blood line story. Can be noble, can be evil... Godrick offs himself because he got tired of the silliness. Good stuff. Same with Bill. He had the Southern Gentlemen going for him, which is what got him tuned way back when. He is always proper... but a vamp and knows how to save his own skin when he needs to. So far I am liking the vampire politics with Bill and Eric. Wolves, hate groups, faries, Ifreets.... meh. I do like Alcides character... but don't really care about the pack. I really dig Lafayette's character... that got a little interesting. Tarra on a pole... really, she isn't the type. I guess this is the part of the season where it all goes to crap... the world is coming to an end and all the involved parties are gong to war. Then it will all get wrapped up and we shall see what is coming next season. |

I was literally laughing out loud at that whole part. I hope they can keep the writing going with that group because its great comic relieve right now. The whole episode seemed to have more laughable moments than normal. Eric had some good one liners and Sam rolling around on the ground talking to the cop was classic. |

I've gotten confused on it as well. Honestly, I have no clue why Bill and Eric got included with the crazy vamp crew... when they had stated on numerous occasions they did NOT believe that humans were simply there to feed them. It's like, "Oh, you are here... come along!". Whatever. I don't care about the pack either. Blah. Tarra on a pole really isn't out of left field. Here character has acted very odd before... remember her whole stint when she moved to New Orleans and had a girlfriend? |

Pro ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Anyone notice how the language seems to have gone over the top? They've got Sookie cussing like a Teamster now, along with the entire cast. It works for Lafayette, Pam and Russell, but not the whole cast. It just seems distracting and takes away from the characters and the roles they've created and established. It's like they are really trying to be edgy, but it comes off sounding ridiculous from the characters that never talked like that before. HBO did the same thing in the final season of Deadwood and it sounded goofy there as well. I wonder when the new cop with the horrible southern accent is going to get killed? They've brought on the new cop, he can't act for shite so I'm guessing he's fodder. Why was the former preacher/new gay vampire guy at the council meeting? He was allowed to drink Lillith's blood and now he's best buds with Edgington? Enough of the faerie storyline already! It seems to go nowhere and just kills airtime that could be better utilized. Is there any chance that they could whack Sookie? I'm getting tired of her character more than any of the rest. |

I was really shocked that Bill was all on board with the vampire nut jobs. Although he does seem to be all about preserving his own butt over what's right and wrong. Shocked that Eric is going for "what's right". But I still miss the Eric from when the show started. The scene with Tara was interesting... how she got to have her high school enemy for dinner. I liked that Lafayetta told them they had to pay up for his services! The whole vampire/Sookie/faires thing... BLAH. |

Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I think Bill is just playing along. They need a plan. Right now, Bill and Eric have none. Right now it's all about war... Faries/Vamps/wolves/shifters/humans... something tells me they will get it wrapped up before the end of the season. This series is odd in that the "big battle" at the end of every season isn't the end of the season... there are a couple more episodes to set up next season.... Soooo they either need to get it wrapped up... or this is going to spill into next season. And I'm sorry... the whole wolf pack is all strung out on V and Alcide gets his butt whooped.... whatever. |
