Strange Habits- what are some of yours? (Page 2)

I can't sleep at night unless I can tuck the covers under my feet like a sleeping bag.  It drove my mom nuts when I was a kid (she made my bed) and makes my wife crazy today (she makes the bed and it screws up the sheets for her). 

I do that too (flushing the toilets) and when I leave the bathroom I have to use a paper towel to pull open the door handle. If there are not towels, say just air dryers, I stand by the door until someone comes in or out and opens it for me.

Alright it is time I join this little parade of freaks and throw my name into the ring.

Things I cannot allow to happen:

Let other people use my hair brush

Eat at a resturant where they throw the penuts on the floor (its food on the floor people)

I always eat my food on my plate clockwise, eating one item at a time.

let other people use my deoderant, even if we were dating and yours ran out.

I always have to wash new clothes one time before I wear them after I buy them

I refuse to wash my face with the same wash clothe I wash my butt with

cannot stand for someone to get in my bed with socks on (after they have walk on a floor all day, look at the bottom of your socks and then tell me your getting in my clean bed... uh no)

I always smell my food before I eat it

the last thing I do when getting ready is brush my teeth

There are many more that border on OCD but I will not let those of you who do like me think I am a total freak..... so I will leave them off.

Germphobes, you are not alone. I'm right there with ya.

My OCD behaviors are almost limitless.

• When grocery shopping, I never take the first item off the shelf.  For example, carton of milk or box of cereal... I always take the first one off, grab the one behind it, return the front one. I am particularly anal about this with purchasing magazines.
• If my toes nails are long enough to scrape my sheets at night, I can not fall asleep until I get up and trim them.  My husband finds this HILARIOUS.
  
• I like the dishwasher loaded a specific way. When hubs does it, I redo it.

There's more, but I dont' want you all to think I am totally bonkers, and I can't think of them.

Why do we have to do that though???  I mean are there people who sit around hte house in "normal" clothes?  I'd really like to know because I couldn't do it if i were forced!
