Barely any time to log,e ven. Thanks Yanti. Yeah, my cough is gone, but now comes the sinus infection and post nasal drip that causes the occasional cough and sore 'throat.' I guess it's not really the throat, but kinda between the throat and the nose. I've been doing the saline nasal spray thing, but not quite brave enough to do the Neti pot thing...ick... |

Steep ginger (powdered is fine), tamarind, and cinnamon together in water; it should actually be a tea-like color/consistency. When it's done, squeeze a slice of lemon or lime (if lime, just a few drops) in, and be generous with addition of honey to taste. I cannot even begin to tell you how much better this made me feel. Making more tonight! |

Geez, are we all getting sick? I finally broke down and went to the doc (after Amy convinced me on the way into work),. Now I'm all drugged up with Augmentin, Mucinex, and Pseudophedrine. Should make for an interesting day skiing tomorrow. Esp, when I get to my post ski 800 IB with beer chaser. Maybe I'll have to skip th eIB and just have the beer. |

Beth, make sure you get some ear plugs for the plane. I think they are called earplanes. They do help if you are congested. Helps keep the pressure from killing you on the plane. Do you fly out on Sunday? Yanti, that remedy sounds great. |

I can't imagine what it'll be like, it's the first time I've been away from the "baby" overnight and only the second that I've been away from the kids period. Last time we got away for the night was two and half years ago... and then we had the baby. Excited to go skia new resort, too. Got some demo skiis (and pharmaceuticals) so I should have an enjoyable day regardless of being sick. Hope y'all all have a great weekend, oh and try not to eat too many potatoe chips during the game. |
