I also set up a Google spreadsheet for tracking us. It was nice to have so we can see each other's progress. This is optional because I know Cat doesn't like the online spreadsheets. If you want to use it, it's here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pVOlxyviRAwacn3Z1-8d2IA&hl=en

Log in as "btchallenge" password is "challengeforum". You can share it with yourself by going to the "share" tab on the right and entering your email address.

Hi Jen,

Feel free to use it as the official sheet and just send me a link to access it each week (because you know what Im like). I can quite easily grab the info from there without too much hassle as long as I'm reminded!

Happy Cycling

Cat

PS: I told Dee's team the same thing - I need a reminder but its easy enough to grab the data from there

Congrats! I did a spin class (which will be most of my cycling for the challenge) for a total of 45 (ish) minutes on the bike...

And the good news is the calf didnt strain again! I hadnt set a challenge goals because of being out all week with an injury but I guess Im on the mend

Hey team ... I'm off to a spinning start.... 1.75 hrs done... 13.25 hrs to go. I guess when you eat up the chunks of time in that amount, shouldn't be that bad. LOL

Tomorrow is LSD for me... it's going to be my longest run to date. The plan is for 1.5 hrs... distance to be determined. Wish me luck.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Good Luck!!!!!

Brutal road ride with the race team today.  I thought it would be a 10 mile easy road ride.  We rode 8 or so miles out to a 5 mile loop.  10 of us ran 3 loops practicing drafting 1/2 wheel length off of the person in front of you. At 18 - 25 mph.  Then 8 or so miles back to the shop.  Threw some football after getting home and a hot shower.  36 miles total I think.  Logged it.  I'm tired tonight.

LOL, it's your challenge - do it however you want! LOL! If you prefer the spreadsheets to be maintained by the team captain.... Well, then I won't put the spreadsheets on Google. You can just have everyone report in here each week.

Or, you can make a team links table, or just add everyone to your Friends list - and then you can visit everyone everyday and leave inspires for them.

We know how much you want to learn how to make those team links tables....

(I'm thinking that you're about to clear out some of your Friends. (Rather than tackle the table code.) And very probably, I'll be the first "Friend" to go..... LOL!)

Hm, you guys are really out there riding.

I think that I really need to get off BT and log some miles. Otherwise, I'll be wearing a PEEPS avatar for the month of April.

Although, I think those PEEPS are really cute, and I wouldn't really mind wearing one... Hmmmm.

Hi team!  So a long ride today was planned, but the person leading the ride didn't tell us how long he had planned.....  We were out there over 4 hours, 3.9 hours of actual riding.  There was a little cyclocross action at the 3 spots where they were doing road/trail work.   I'm not sure how many city lines we crossed today, but I'm not sitting on my bike for a few days.  And got my first sunburn of 2008.  Didn't put sunscreen on my arms before putting on my jacket -- it was predicted to hit 70 degrees.....  dumb.   So I'm at 25% of my goal already :D -- if this weather keeps up I'll have to increase my goal.

All this talk about biking outside and getting sunburned makes me really jealous especially from people who live in the Southern hemnisphere as you guys have summer now..... so jealous!!!

This is how it looks outside our window right now (its snowing and quite windy):

I am off to the TRI Club Spinning class in a bit and hope that the instructor finally has a new sond playlist like promised. His songs were not really that good spinning songs and music so SO important!!

KELLY, I had that same problem and my nice husband showed me how to do it. Just start copying from below the box and all the way up and then it works

Another way to do it is to quote the message that has the team table.  Then check the box that says "Disable HTML".  Copy all of the HTML code into your log.

I usually have to click on "Apply" in the goals section twice before it looks like the actual table.
