Was planning to go to friends for the evening, but now it looks like I will be either be at home or in the ER. My son (who has leukemia) just spiked a fever and is complaining of a headache -- I'll be keeping a close eye on him and if he starts looking like he has an infection, its off to the ER we go. What a way to start the new year . . . hopefully we can just stay home, watch TV, and eat all the food I made to take to the party. That's my new New Year's wish.

Run five miles. We attended a nice and early neighborhood wine and cheese party from 7-9 p.m. Will ring in the new year at home with our two children. That will do fine, thank you very much.

Oops - that party was from 5-7 p.m.  What kind of crazy party animal would I be if I were rocking the night away at a 7-9 p.m. party!

Melissa,
I'll be thinking of you and your son. Hope that fever goes away quickly and you two can have a nice evening....
As for myself, my boyfriend got sick yesterday, so we will be watching the GATORS kick Miami's butt on tv, and probably just watching a movie or something. I don't even know if my gym is open tomorrow. It rained ALL day today, so I couldn't work out. Hope tomorrow is better. HAPPY 2005 to everyone. Please be safe out there.

I will be sitting at the house in town wondering what is happening at the party at the lake house that my 21 year old daughter is hosting.

Janicewhokeepsmehumble is fixing a fancy-dancy meal for my mother and me.  We have a bottle of Taittinger chilling.

Life is actually pretty good.

In the past 15 days or so we've logged about 3500 miles(All driving) visiting family. We're done, cooked, stick a fork in us..staying home watching "Anchorman" and I'll be sipping some Brandy

Pigpen:  Giddyup.

Lara...you can't be serious.

Plans are:  Hang with the 10 and 4 year old...in the apt...make cheese, main course, and chocolate fondue (done, tremendous success) for us 3...followed by watching Liar Liar (Jim Carrey) and Groundhog Day (Bill Murray) until both are asleep.

Tomorrow:  10AM:  3000 swim, 5mi run.  Yeah baby.

Everyone have  safe, happy new year.
