We've got football playoffs on both the 18th and the 25th so I'm out unless we go November.

Well I'm not insane enough to do this yet.  But we'll see if a year of training makes me less sane.

I have to stay Z2, which means swim = 300 yards (if I survive ), and run will be slow.  I'm just reporting, not asking for sympathy or anything.  I will leave bread crumbs to follow back to ground zero (why did I tell you this since now you guys will prolly reroute my bread crumbs or hide them ).

I am in.  I am going to have to head home right after the run as my brother will be in town with my niece and sister in law, so I need to spend some time with them.

just swim a little bit slower and you'll stay z2 the whole time...but in reality the shock of the cold will put you above whatever supposed zone you are suppose to stay in... and in dork exercise science mode: any exercise in any zone is beneficial for fitness, it just affects your cells in different ways. moral of the story is youre in for a fun time
