Thanks! I am just starting training for my first sprint in the summer and am jazzed to be a part of all of this. I only know two other folks on BT and one of them is on the other team!

Would this be a good time to disclose that I've never done a team challenge before?!

Never done a triathlon (or any race) before either, but I guess I'll go into that later...all these peaches are supposed to be helping with that, right?!?

SERIOUSLY??? I thought I was the only one on this site who had not raced yet, or not even registered to race...

I am "training" to do a 5k; these last several weeks constitute the first time I've ever run in my life!

You are not the only one who hasn't done a tri or registered to race.  You'd be surprised!  I certainly was.

Welcome to BT!  The challenges are a great way to get to know people on the site.  March will be fun. 

Guess I should introduce myself.  My name is Jen.  I live in Richmond, VA.  I'm a grad student getting my PhD in genetics.  I did my first tri in 2005.  I've done a bunch of sprint and Oly distance tris, and running races from a 5k to a marathon.  Right now, I'm coming back from injuring my knee at the end of last season.  I'm training for the National Duathlon Festival at the end of April.

I think that's about it for me.

Yeah, hubby had a doctor appt at 7:30 but it was over an hour away.  Good God.  That is just wrong!
