Subject: RE: Ways you absolutely wouldn't want to diebriderdt - 2009-06-27 6:33 PM I think one of my biggest fears is Parkinson's disease. Watching my dad on his long slow decline into dementia, immobility, and inability to communicate has been one of the most disturbing things in my life. If I were ever to be diagnosed, I think I'd take up parachuting. And then forget to open the chute. x2, or cancer, or terrorists. All three are slow processes that take a toll on you, and everyone around you. With an indeterminate end. In line with that, I've got no fear of something quick...a la plane crash. One second you're eating a really small bag of pretzels, the next second it's over. That sounds easy. Anything that happens quickly. |
