Hey all - I am Tracy and this is my second challenge.  I finished strong yesterday for the November challenge and thought I had better keep it going!  I am a SAHM to 11 and 13 year old boys - I know, they aren't home much, but it still works for us.  I have swimming already scheduled a few times a week so I am going to focus on a return to running (from an injury - don't change shoes!) and getting on that darn trainer.  Now I will really have to!  I will put my goals on the spreadsheet  soon.

As far as team names go, I am happy with whatever you all would like - thanks for allowing a newbie to play along!

Hey without newbies there wouldn't be any oldbies!  Doing a monthly challenge most of last year was the way I got myself on track.

Remember team, put your goals in, but don't overestimate yourselves this month, as it will get crazy for everyone the last week and half of the month!

I couldnt agree more!!!! I started the month with a day off. I went hard the end of last month. I am READY to go for the month of Dec!!!

Huh, I have a busy day away from BT and I come home to see this.  Hmmmmmm.  Okay, I shall co-captain with Stacie.  And I am a pretty decent inspirer so I got that covered.  Except it looks like I'll be traveling Dec 22-28th time frame.  But I'll have internet access so no worries.  Speaking of traveling, maybe I should modify my goals to account for vacation time......

Evening all!! I'm stalling doing my office notes....blech.  Had to stop and say I love the Vixen Revisited name, love the co-captains and managed to get both a run and swim in today.  Will get onto the spreadsheet soon.  I am sure  I will be back when I am half done those stoopid notes.  BL night too!

Hey all,

My name is Tina and I am coming back to training after about a year or so off... I did a lot of transitioning in life in the last year (new job, moving, etc), so it is nice to get back to a routine and get back to training. I've done a couple of Olys in the past, but I'm not sure yet which races I'm going to do this season-- it probably all depends on how training goes...

But I am excited about getting started again-- I'm starting off a bit slower-- just focusing on the bike and nutrition (thus the weightloss goal)-- plus I live in Wisconsin and the thought of running in 25 degree weather just doesn't appeal to me quite yet...

As far as a name goes, I'm up to whatever... Good luck everyone!

Determined not to start the month off in a hole like I did in November, I actually got out of bed (after I fell asleep putting the kids to bed) to come down and run. It was a short run, but did some sprints in there. Also doing pushups and situps tonight (not part of the challenge).

I hope everyone is in bed resting up for a great training day tomorrow!! I need to get there myself...

MORNING VIXEN REVISTED!  (love the name btw)

heading out in a few for an 8 miler!

scored me a running buddy so it wont be as dreadfully boring as i was expecting it to be.

i really need to re-route my running....route.

same ol same starts to get to me after awhile.  i worked out a 4-6-8-10-12 mile loops when i was doing my 1/2 trng that i could 'connect' to right outside my door, but now its getting 'monotonous'

not good if i want to keep my runnin' mojo goin'

ive got races to run!

HAPPY TRAINING, VIXENS!

I think it's going to be good that I often don't get to train until night... I get to see how motivated you all are throughout the day. I'm going to HAVE to get on the trainer tonight no matter what!

Go VIXENS!!
