Artemis - 2010-03-26 1:38 PM Hiya new Nibbs!

Happy 25,000 posts, Cat!

Thanks Jen! Hows the piercing healing?

Really well.  Far better than any of the other cartilage piercings I've gotten.  Guess I should have done the others on the right side (I sleep on my left side so they were always bruised for a really long time)

I saw the picture and all I could think was "ouch!"  It does look cool having a piercing there though.  I hadn't seen it done there yet.  Guess I hand out with the "wrong" crowd.
Glad it is healing well.

kaqphin - 2010-03-25 4:42 PM Hi Mel! Hi Judi!

How are your days going?
not too shabby.  I had my meds late today and have been a bit lacking in the motivation department.  A lot of time sitting with my computer.

I spent a couple hours working with my dad as well.

Sounds like your dad is doing much better.

mchally - 2010-03-25 8:04 PM Well it is time to move onto other things...here is what I have for now:

I'm an active gal that loves spending time outdoors. I approach life with enthusiasm and am always ready to try something new.

I am a triathlete (tackling my first HIM this fall) and enjoy an active lifestyle.  I love day hikes, backpack trips, and snowshoeing.  I am passionate about horticulture, landscaping and gardening.

When not outside I am likely to be found working on a home improvement project,  trying out a new recipe or curled up with a good book.

I find inspiration and motivation in friends and family, learning something new, being part of a team, competition, and the sense of accomplishment that comes with a job well done.

Friends describe me as enthusiastic, compassionate, intelligent, energetic, confident, spontaneous, and creative.

Would you like to join me in the adventures and challenges that come with a full life?
at some point I should probably add the 'what I am looking for' portion...

Sounds good, except you forgot the BT addiction.

kind of touched upon at least in the profile sidebar for fun section...here it is :
Triathlon, gardening, hanging out with family and friends, running with my sister's dog, sailing, biking with a friend, exploring new places, reading a good book. Catching up with friends online...both serious conversation and jovial banter.

I think that there is at least partial disclosure of my BT addiction

there have been times now and then where we thought he was going...he has declined further. He is at the point of constant discomfort and really really struggles to eat, drink and communicate.  At this point sooner is better than later.

Thats very well written Mel!
thank you...I've refined it a bit at the end... after the friends part I inserted

I have big dreams and am not afraid to pursue them. In the next 8 years I would love to hike the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada, complete a full Ironman, sail the San Juans and the some of the Canadian coastline (Princess Louisa Inlet in particular), and start the greatest adventure of all...parenthood.

I am looking for someone who has similar faith and interests as myself. He isn't afraid of a bit of rain, sweat and getting dirty. He desires personal growth in all areas of his life and has the gumption to pursue his dreams.

Would you like to join me in the adventures and challenges that come with a full life?

I think it is better now.
