Stretch it out in May Ghoulies! (Page 2)

I've noticed my left leg is a LOT more bendy than my right leg, especially when doing ITB stretches. Maybe it's because I stretched the left one so much more when it got hurt. Any smarty people regarding stretching care to comment?

Neal didn't just smoke this race escape....he stomped it!!! One might think think he was on the run from some serious criminal history. 

As a former resident of Ames with contacts still in town, I can assure you there are rumors...

I had a great time volunteering at a Sprint Tri today. I was at the finish line sorting timing chips. If I learned one thing today it's this - I'm DEFINITELY buying my own chip-strap!

I tried to track Ann at the PGH half but couldn't find her.  Am wondering if her hamstring may have gotten worse? More likely is that my internet stalking skills could use some improvement. Hopefully the latter is the case.  Melindy aka Melissa was running the Vancouver half but their sight is not responding.  Guess we'll have to wait for them to report in.

I had an easy bike this morning.  Not sure where the rest of the day disappeared to.  Off to soccer in a bit.  It is going to be a sweatfest.

Have fun playing soccer Kim! I hear it's pretty warm out east today. Be sure to hydrate and kick some goals!

Hi Tom. It is hot and humid here today.  I got on the bike at 7am and was soaked when I got home after only 20 miles.   I'm going to try and play defense this afternoon.  Plenty of other gals like to play half-back or forward.  Going to let them tear up their legs.  I only play for the smack talk and post game beer.  I usually bring the 7 ounce Heinekins.  Baby beers.  Gotta drive home.

Good strategy! You can still get a good workout on D too. Quote of the day at the finish line today - "Where's the beer?" from a lady who could barely walk

I hope Melindy and Ann's races went well!

My 5K was fun but not a very race for me. A lot of it was running on a mulched trail. Guess what I am allergic to? I had a hard time breathing. But, It was a lovely flat 5K along a river park with nice music and a massage at the end. No beer but I will make up for that at the mexi restaurant tonight with friends.
