Robin, last night I showed my daughter the picture of your house and asked if she wanted to go decorate it. I told her I had decorating jobs for her in NC, and WA. She kept asking if I could really take her to those places so she could decorate for you. It was cute, and funny.

That is cute! Next year I'll meet you half way and pick her up. She can name her cookie of choice.

I believe they have a marathon in Honolulu. We could do that one sometime, like after I win the lottery.

Deal!

She's a piece of work. She wanted to know how big your trees are. We have a 10 foot tree that the kids decorated last night. I'll try to post a picture later. My husband and I put the lights on, the kids did all the rest.

I see us sitting on the couch with an adult beverage handing her the ornaments of her choice and taking orders from her. I'm okay with that!

Nice. Our tree is the standard 7 footer. We have low ceilings because the house is so old.

I could bring her down the day after Thanksgiving. School is usually closed Monday and Tuesday. It could happen.

Well, I posted my goals on the December Fruitcake challenge.  December is going to be a struggle for fitness, I think.  But having goals written down will help.

No problem, I live vicariously. What a great place. I expect TONS of pictures!
Can your parents adopt me? (Except that I am probably older than them).

Mom is 52, Dad 53. They didn't have us till they were 30. Apparently they went against the norm back in the day and were married for 10yrs before they had kids? Haha

The DH did the same thing- (waiting till older to have kids, that is). My step kids are 22 and 23 years old- same as you, Melindy. So, your parents are one and two years older than me. Probably can't adopt me but I could be your aunt!!

Dear Dee and Robin,

During this special time of year it is easy to forget about fitness while we all eat, drink, and be merry. You do have the fortitude though to say no to the extra dessert, to go out and run instead of going to the mall. Sure, doing nothing is easier, but would you want anything worth while to be easy. Trim the tree, hang the stockings, then get your workout in. You'll thank me for in in January.

Sincerely,
Ann

I am off to a "dribs and drabs" party.
That is where everyone takes the (still edible) dribs and drabs from your fridge and we make a meal out of them. Sometimes odd but always interesting.

See ya tomorrow, Ghoulies
