Hm, that's too much thinking for me. I can't even evaluate today, much less life.

Can someone please evaluate mine and answer some questions I have?

Sure, I'm great at fixing everyone ELSES life!

Hello everyone!

I'm so excited this morning I just have to share a picture of my new shoes. I know its not everyones cup of tea but I run in five fingers and love them but they take waaaay too long in transition. The new trail gloves from Merrell are my answer to that. They are super light, super comfy, mine arrived yesterday and I am so in love with them!

Pretty shoes   I like the looks.

Refusing the VFF......on the advice of my PT to stay the heck away from them cause he sees lots of folks with injuries who change their natural stride too much and don't adapt right to them.

Give the lack of sleep I had I am not sure I am capable of reevaluating life either.....but I came up with goals.

rh8463 - 2011-02-28 6:45 PM I'm in - I don't know what I would do without a challenge and chatting on here.
Not sure of goals right now.
Probably increased cycle mileage building up to a 160k in May, maybe sprints, I need to work on explosive power, stretching....need to work on that massively....and maybe a nutrition based one for the last...will work out the specifics

Thanks Melissa!

Thanks for the alcohol idea Rachel! I have been drenching my feet several times a day, and did it shortly before my 8km run on Sunday. I had no problems! Hopefully this will transfer to longer runs, but only time will tell. This month I have 8km x2 and 10km x2 long runs. Next month I start ramping up on my way to 21!

Generally, when someone wants to consume alcohol, they do it through the mouth, not the feet.

Roots my friend, roots.

Hi - long time lurker first-time challenge-joiner ...

I'm getting back into triathlons this year after two years lost due to injury (2009 bad Achilles, 2010 decimated shoulder) ... so could use all the support possible. ;-)

My goals for March:
1) meet each scheduled workout, and 50% of my optional workouts
2) have only 2 cheat meals per calendar week
3) do yoga - a full practice - once per calendar week
4) send out 10 resumes and 2 class proposals for my part-time gig

I might have some questions for you - I am trying to put off going to the dr but if the pain gets any worse I might be right behind you on the release.

Hope it goes smoothly.

LOVE BLUE SHOES - Ok - any color but white shoes I LOVE! Unfortunately my knees tend to play nicer with white or mostly white shoes.

So the only way for me to get workouts in is for me to map them out on a calendar. So I made a calendar and have goals... (and explanations)

1. 40 miles walking (giving my poor legs time to adapt back to running but keep moving)
2. 30 miles run (my first 2 miles since my 1/2 Mary was last night so working into it)
3. 12 sessions of bike (because I need to get re-acquainted with it)
4. 12 ab sessions - since it is getting warmer here it is a reminder that swimsuit season is approaching - it doesn't hurt.

And if in the process I drink enough water, watch what I eat and lose some weight that would be great.

After 35 years of people getting it wrong - I answer to just about anything. Undecided

But TR is just fine. Easiest to type, too.

ETA: the blue shoes are tres cool!

Ok, here are my challenge goals, specifically then:

1) 8 x sprint sessions
2) 6 x yoga/pilates
3) 600km on the bike
4) 4 new job applications (kind of like the idea of a work related one as it always seems to suffer)

hehe, I'm usually "help me rhonda...  help, help me rhonda"...  Or I also went to school with a Rhona.

I've just become accustomed to answering to any name that starts with an R, ends in an A and usually has an N in the middle somewhere.   Wink

Soooooooooooo true! I have answered to recently (and with no hard feelings) Trisha, Trina, Tina, Tara, Tina-Faye, Tina-Rae, Trina-Marie, Tara-Fee, Tanya, Tammy ...

If it starts with a "T" and ends in a vowel - I'll answer to it. Undecided

Hubby is playing hockey again tonight...  I just finally got the kids asleep so now I get to switch some laundry around and work out...  What to do...?  I need some direction.  Hmmm...  goals would help.

I promise I'll set my goals when I come back up from the "freezing cold basement of torture".
