Did you feel the earth shake this morning? If you did it was just me getting up and going for a SWIM. I was in the pool by 8:20. Which is amazing for me since it is ordinarially a 35 minute drive but I forgot about school busses. It was a 50 minute drive. Anyway 50 minute of swim before the hair appoingment.

I am going to loll about reading magazines and maybe even take a nap. Just because I can

Happy Saturday all. It is sunny and WINDY. Gusts of 40 mph.

That is good. That gives me a great excuse for how slow I will be

I will take any excuse at all.I would really like it if I didn't have the sweep ambulance following me all the way. Really!

I had an appointment to take my old cat to the vet for his final visit. When I woke up this morning, he'd already passed. As usual, he did things on his terms. Jack had been with me for 19 years. I miss him terribly. &*^*& I can't imagine going through life without pets, but it sure does hurt to lose them.

Afternoon all. FInished my event. 2nd woman overall I think...not too many people who did the race though.

All ish times:

750m swim: 10:50ish

20km spin: 25-30min ish

4km run-19min ish

I don't think final results will be up till Monday. I think I get a prize though? Haha

All those texts and not one to me (sniff).

A running challenge is a good idea!

I have a 10 K tomorrow and a 5 K on Saturday. Happily, and not coincidentally, they are both sponsored by local breweries. It was the only way I could get the DH to run, too. Next week I am supposed to do a trail HM. We will see about that one. I haven't run over 6 miles in MONTHS.

Six S-L-O-W miles today. I decided to run the hilly route here instead of going to the 5K today. That way I can get some yard work in as well. It is a fantastically beautiful day here. Sunny, breezy and warm.
