I just completed my first Crazylegs 8k in Madison last week. Where do you live currently? We ride regularly down in Racine on the course. I was a transplant to Texas, but we have been back in the Milwaukee Area for several years. I am driving down to Knoxersville on Friday night, probably will get in Saturday AM. Sorry, already have dinner plans for Sat night, but we should try to get a group together Sun AM before the race for a BT picture somewhere...... In reference to your food question. Don't change anything before the race. My only suggestion is to just make sure you bring 100 - 300 calories on the bike in whatever form you are used to using during training. (Gels, drink, powerbar, etc.) |
