Very nice! X3! You look great!!! Awww thanks so much my fellow hot Crushers ... means a lot to me because it's coming from hawt chix, and also since I've flabbed out from doing nothing the last year I have gotten more self conscious. Not that I'm gonna cover up more or anything. You still look way hot! I second the body composition change issue... I am at my flabbiest right now and need a change! If for nothing else the bridesmaid dress I am wearing on July 16th JUST barely fits me now. The kind of just fits where the seams are near buckling and flab is being divided. SO BAD!! I told the bride and let her know that I have a triathlon the week after the wedding and plan to get at least a little bit fitter by then. On a fun note, my husband and I are doing a challenge. When we each lose 15lbs and reduce our waist circumference by 18cms we get tattoos! I know, not everyone's preferred prize - but a HUGE motivating factor for my husband who doesn't have too much motivation to exercise at this time. And I know, I mixed imperial and metric... I'm Canadian. |

YAAAAY! Phew! With you swimming, the swim team will be utter coolness. I was on a swim team once where even posting ultrahot champ swimmers (male and female) in Speedos failed to get anybody interested. Either in teaming, posting, or swimming. I'm in fer swimming too, then. Body's just not ready for cycling much yet. I might change my mind in the next day or two, though. I am an idiot like that. I mean, I could trainer, or walk. BLAAAH ... If you don't swim with me, I'll cry a little. Safety first. Always have a swim buddy when possible ... looks like it's just us getting cozy for now! I like multiples too though ... anyone want to jump in with us??? Well, seeing how you aren't even in the "pool" yet... If there are no other swimmers I will take the plunge to make the team 4 people - once Yanti puts her name on. |

I think I'll come in for a challenge this month! I'm technically on heavy volume for all 3 sports for the next month because IMLP is looming in the not so distant future (eeek), but I think I'll go on the run team. I think I'll set it at 170km for the month. Excellent! I also have to say thank goodness for percentage of goal... My goals are going to be mini in comparison to you and Rachel! Awesome! Pretty sure we will be the winning team....just saying |

Veteran 392 Calgary | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge Crushers: Just got home from my job interview! I think it went great ... however I have a HUGE concern - despite giving them 3 current and relevant work-related references, THEY WANT TO CALL MY SUPERVISOR for a "supervisory" reference. As you well know, she's a moron (a really very bad supervisor, actually) who really doesn't like me and I'm sure would not only give me a bad reference, but also would spread gossip around the entire section about my pursuing another position! I'm really unhappy about this. As you well know - she's a huge part of the reason I want to leave the section I'm in! Sigh. So ... today not sure I'll get to the gym for my planned run ... or outside, for that matter ... I just got home, and the cabinet ppl will be here to fix my bowed cupboard anytime over then next 5 hours ... I must get groceries, do laundry, and clean the house as it's back to work tomorrow ... maybe I'll tack on a short run Sunday, take today as my off day instead. Sigh. |

I don't know about Canada, but in the US, if a current supervisor is contacted by another potential employer, the current supervisor cannot give any details (negative or positive) regarding your employment. The only thing they can legally say is "yes, she works (or worked) here." Good luck getting the job! |
