Subject: RE: Team Liquigas Official Thread- - - SPREADSHEET SHORTCUT - - - Because I am too lazy to spend two minutes each day figuring out the cumulative miles and stages, I spent 2-3 hours and added a sheet to the spreadsheet so that Excel Google will do the figuring out for me. If you too want to be lazy efficient, it's really simple: IMPORTANT - if you've already put in numbers for miles and stages, be sure to write them down before starting to copy/paste so you can reenter them in the "Enter Mileage Daily" sheet. Here's how to do it: A - Ask me to convert your cells in Sheet1, or, B - Copy/paste the formulas in cells E7/F7/G7 and I7/J7/K7 and M7/N7/O7 to your row. Example for MechEchick: Left click (normal click) on cell E7 and don't let go of the mouse button. While holding mouse button down, move the mouse to the right so that cells E7, F7, & G7 are all highlighted. Let go of the mouse button Ctrl-C (copy). Highlight cell E10. Ctrl-V (paste). Repeat for weeks two and three. Now when you finish riding, just click the tab named "Enter Mileage Daily" (near the lower left of the spreadsheet) and put your miles in the correct cell. In the event you do two stages in a day there's a second set of lines (rows 15-21) below the first area. Once you enter mileage, go back to Sheet1 to see your total stages and miles/hours/KM. I've already done it for MechEchick, if she doesn't want to use this system just overwrite the cells in row 10 with your numbers. And I've conveniently added a link to each day's results at the top of the sheet named "Enter Mileage Daily" sheet. Just click the stage name then click the link that hovers up. |
