After thinking about this statement, I think you COULD be right, but if so, it's an alpaca after a bad experience with a nuclear reactor.

In an answer to oipolloi's original question about resizing a GIF file;

1. If you have PhotoShop, I believe it also comes with ImageReady which will allow you to resize a gif file and save it in the same animated format.

2. You can also to to http://www.gifworks.com/and use their image editor. It's an online tool that doesn't require any downloading.

3. I think JASC software has a program called ProPaint that also lets you rsize gif files too. I believe they have a 15 day trial on their downloadable program.

4. And finally you might also want to try http://www.irfanview.com/which is photo editing software (free) but might be applicable to gif files as well.

Thanks for the BUMP 3558.  Not that this silly thread needed it, but thanks anyway.

I've since figured out how to shrink the GIF.  Thanks for the instructions.
