What's the difference between a Northern fairy tale and a Southern fairy tale?

A Northern fairy tale starts out "Once upon a time.."
A Southern fairy tale starts out "Ya'll ain't gonna believe this shit!"

LOL! I say that to my officemates all the time! Meaning, when one of them (all my buds, btw) says, 'The South's gonna do it again", I say, "What? Lose?"

Then I duck.

There ya go!!
The more important question was which is better? The East ("right" coast vs. the Wrong coast?

Having been born in the south, raised overseas and now settled in the north, I have to say that the big cities, topography, and seasons are better in the north! Yet the southern hospitality and food can't be touched. BUT you can get hospitable people in the midwest and their RIBS are the best too!

SOUTH: Snakes, bugs, alligators, hurricanes.
WEST: Earthquakes, smog, Arnold.
MIDWEST: Cornfields, tornadoes, cornfields, wind, cornfields.

Ever wonder why the majority of the "COPS" shows emanate from Miami?

Southern Virgin: a 14 year old who can outrun her brothers.

courtney_leone - 2005-11-15 10:44 AM Don't forget, the South has Matthew McConaughey
And it kills me to say this, Jessica Simpson

And Reese Witherspoon and Ashley Judd.

I was raised in KY, went to college in RI, I like both North and South. (I also spent a year in CO, and I think the West is pretty cool, too.)

TAGP, get thee to Davis Sq. in Somerville. Enter Redbones. Eat the ribs. Any kind, beef, pork whatever. Sample them with at least the vinegar based sauce and the hot sauce.

Your opinion on the ribs will change.
