I'd suggest "Barbacoa", but I'd be afraid you'd eat him.

Ok- I'm a dork- I'll admit it.  I can't contain myself!  I'm so excited becuase there's a jingle bell 2 mile run downtown tonight.  It's just a small, casual local race.  You pay $1 for a jingle bell that you wear around your wrist.  YOu can buy as many as you want and the money goes toward charity.  Now for the good part....I'm going to bring Wing Nut with me on the 2 mile run!!  I think I'll get her a red bow to attch to her collar, since I've been told that she doesn't like to wear the reindeer antlers.  I'm so excited!  She's going to love it!

Congrats, Janelle.  She's a beautiful dog.  You're going to enjoy having her around.  My wife and I don't know how we ever lived without our goofy dog, Newman.

I second (or tenth or wherever I am) the name Wingnut.  I don't know why, but she doesn't look like a "Kona".  Smile

Absolutely!  And when he gets into trouble I curl my upper lip and say "NEWMAN!".  Its turned out to be the perfect name for him.

He actually sat there for about 5 minutes while we took pictures.  Then it was off to the bath.  I know our yard's not in the best shape (because we have a dog) but I honestly didn't think it was possible for him to get that muddy.  'Course, it was raining like hell for three days when this happened.  Here's one of him when clean.

WHOA! That was huge - here's a smaller version.

How'd the Jingle bell run go? Any good pics of Wingnut? Duchess (my golden) will curl up next to me when I am laying on the floor lifting weights. HOpefully somebody in my family will catch her and shoot a pic soon. She is a bit camera shy.

Oh yes- the Jingle Bell Run.  I wore some little reindeer antlers and got her a red bow to atttach to her collar.  I broght her inside the gym to pay for our bells, and everyone was gushing over her.  It was so funny because she loves attention- everyone wanted to pet her so she was loving it.  We ran 2 miles- she killed me.  That dog just wanted to haul!!!  She was pulling a little- I need to work with her on the leash- probably take some classes with her.  By the end of the run she was a litle slower, but not much.  After the run I gave her some water and a treat, and cracked the windows and put her in the car.  I ran another 3 miles and then we headed on home.

I didn't take any pictures.  But a lady form the gym got our pic and wanted to put it in one of the papers- so I'll share it with ya if it's in the paper.

I need to work Duchess into my running scheme. She pouts when I don't take her (must have picked it up from my daughters)! What I love is the greeting I get when I come home from work. Her tail wags so hard her whole body wiggles!
