Renee - 2005-12-29 2:32 PM Steve, the Uranus shot is pretty but the Saturn pic was really GREAT.

Thank you, Renee!

This is what I really have on my desktop right now: Saturn through Hubble's cycloptic eye:

Stern view of the USS Constitution - "Old Ironsides".

Beautiful ship (Baltimore right?). Took a tour of it when there a few years back.

Boston. Charlestown to be exact.

And here's the desktop background on my work laptop:

So incredibly beautiful and fast. So wonderfully not red.

The Constitution is in Boston; the Constellation is in Baltimore harbor.  I've been working on a model of the Constitution for some time.  The photo is one of the reference photos that I've collected.

My computer screen is dark, has been for 10 days, and will be for another 5.

I'll post the sunrise picture from this summer that resides behind my icons most of the time.

Here's mine.  A friend of my got a hold of my computer one morning at school.  He put it on as a joke due to everyone in the biomechanics lab feeling my office area was community property.

My bosses, nice as they are, decided that when we got a new computer system we would have the Stepford Computers......  NO DESKTOP PICS ALLOWED.... WTF??  They're really more laid back guys, don't gripe about internet usage.  I can understand not wanting downloaded programs, etc., but no desktop pics??? c'mon..
