I signed up for 960 points. The breakdown is based on 35000 yds swimming, 90 miles running, 250 miles biking. Plus I think I gave myself a little wiggle room. My challenge for this challenge  is that I will be on my very last ever Spring Break from Mar 18-26. That time span includes driving to upstate NY, driving to FL, 5 days in FL, and then reversing the process. It's really the weekend long stuff that I'm worried about particularly the rides and then swimming yardage will be approx half the normal that week.
Why I do this much- cuz the coach says too. Seriously, I'm doing FL 70.3, Mooseman Half, Musselman Half, Timberman 70.3, and IM Moo. Ahhh, you say, now it becomes clear. I'm a sucker for high mileage. I'd much rather suffer at a moderate level for a long time than a high level for a short time. |
