Of course not! The summer is still young - how many trips shall I put down?

18.  I know it's not much, but it's something.  I have been commuting to work every Friday.  So to stretch myself, I'll commute 2x a week every other week.

I'd like to play too.
I'll sign up for 40 total (including the 7 days I've already commuted during May).

Just saw this...sounds kewl...

I'm a teacher, so I don't work during the summer. Can I count commuting to workouts and errands? If so, count me in for 25!

I am sad to report that a co-worker of mine was killed in a traffic accident early this morning while biking to work.

Be very careful out there...

I got 2.5 in this week. It's suppose to pour tonight so I'm getting a ride home. That brings my total up to 13.5.

The rains of late have frustrated my efforts to commute so I'm stuck at 7 of 45 and am wondering how realistic my goal is now...

Yikes, I'm real sorry to hear this. My prayers go out to their family.

Just yesterday, I changed my route to detour my only non-neighborhood (1/2 mile) 2-way street. It added about 2 miles, but now my route is 95% very low traffic multi-laned or neighborhood streets.

I've had some things come up so I have only commuted 1 time (instead of my planned 3) since I last reported.

Looking good, guys! Keep it up! Way to race the rain, jpcan!

camy makes a good point about routing - my route adds an extra mile to the commute, but I travel on streets with nearly no traffic.

Here's a link to a cool product for getting clothes back and forth.  I used these back in my road warrior days and they are really great:

Didn't bike to work today, but I did bike 135 miles to Provincetown.
It's an annual tradition with the Wheelworks Multisport team, and though only 6 of us (from a roster of 100+) did it this year, and it was a blast!  (see my log for the details)

So, does that get me anything?  Maybe a sanity check, huh.  LOL
